A minor one. Unlike the other stats Burden and Interference don't scale to your level. So you can expect a higher Burden/Interference.
Otherwise it has many advantages.. Like you don't have to level it.

basically the numbers in the brackets are what you are actually getting from the equipment...

In all honesty? They both suck..
And the effort of levelling the heimdall piece makes it so much worse.
Here's a decent robe to compare to:
Phase Robe of Conquest

Incidentally.. this.

The Heimdall robe will deal more damage, but I don't know if the difference would be worth the ordeal of leveling it. If you don't have anything better to spend your IW's on, then I guess it's no problem. Both are on the low end of the spectrum though.

hey guys, a bronze axe that you can get at level 20, which you level to level 50 would still be shittier than a steel axe that you can buy which starts out at level 50 right?

some visuals: bronze axe lvl 20->50 (is shitter than) steel axe lvl 50?

Okay dokay, I need a little criticism and a tip or 3 on what I'm facing/heading up against in the next bunch of levelling. I spent my time sorta not around playing, (damned mmos suck all the life and time right out of you, but ah well...)

Anyways, am I heading in the right direction with all of this ? ~points~
1: Not really having a problem surviving much of anything, except when I'll be in IW on normal/hard and Mithra spanks the hell out of me a fair bit. IW on normal/hard, or random encounters on hard isnt a huge difference. And I can fly thru arenas (up to my level), fairly easy.
2: Can grind IW on superior grade items 40~ rounds with no major problems, sure I eat pots and spend alot of time healing my arse.
3: I usually split my time doing cakefest to jack up weapon profs, but have been slacking... I'll usually spend time working on 2h and DW, should I worry about others or just focus here for now?
4: Found the joys of a decent katana+wakizashi, and can really mix it up with some baddies...

now the really big questions..
Am I missing out on anything more fun and stuff? I get happy when I see that Katana proc 3-4 baddies and smack em hard in the process.
Should I keep my first 4 stats near my level and is it okay to leave int/wis 5~ below my level?
Should I start investing in newer/better gear? I have a small pile of credits set aside should that be necessary.
Seeing that training up ability points is rather freakin expensive now (33,930c) for one point ... When I "stop" having those extra points (ie: stop training to keep things maxed for each tier), should I forget the exp boosts and stick with hp/mp/spirit/oc strictly as much as the points permit?
With my daily beatings, err beat downs, I've started to actually NEED shield/weaken, anything I really need to watch out for and aside from repeatedly having to use it now, any other easy way to raise profs? (I've more or less montaged a bunch but the gains are negligible...)

and sorry for the absolutely huge image, i didnt feel like actually cutting up half a dozen screenies for nothing (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) lol

Pre-thanks for any tips the long term folks can provide, and many thanks to the experts (who i got a buncha my gear from anyways, lol)

One last question, flip a coin, or something, but please qualify your reply if you can. Is it better to work on raising profs in cakefest, or IW on a crude @ cake difficulty? I noticed I can fly thru 40~ rounds in a cakefest without doing much of anything aside from smacking things with a good 2hander or my katana (can still make it much farther though but I start having to use cure/shield a bit now and then any higher) I can make it much farther though smacking stuff around in IW on a high level crude. Any perks to either of these?
~

Self note ... Tried doing cakefest vs IW (crude/cake and crude/normal), crude/normal IW seems to be MUCH faster, with most things dying relatively quick while trying to raise profs... Guess that works for me (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) I just figured I would put that note here in case anyone is interested. As for the drops, I'll clear my HVstat thing and give it a whirl each way again to see? Unless someone can tell me for sure which nets better proficiencies and drops.

Go to https://e-hentai.org/
On the left, click User CP
In the middle of the page, click Credits, then at the bottom hit the button saying "Transfer Credits", put in the Amount, the name to send to, a short note if you want, and hit Verify Details, make sure its all good, and then hit "Authorize and Execute"

@ Fury216

My advise..

- Always looking for a better gear.
- Always looking for a better gear.
- Use Shield (Spell), you are doing it wrong if your supportive proficiency is below 50% of your LV. Spam Shield in arena until it doesn't suck anymore.
- If you have Credits and AP to burn, you could try out on mage once you bored with melee.
- Train something else, like scavenger, archeologist, blah blah..
- Stop playing on Cake difficulty, its make you think you're superman while in fact you're not.

Thanks (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
I'm usually always looking thru the WTS thread, and occasionally find something awesome in the equipment shop... Not always (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Yeah, I've started spamming the living hell outta that, as well as have been thinking about dabbling with mage. Also have been working on adept learner more when i am actively playing, and then when im gonna be afk a while, i'll work on training LoTD, scavenger, etc. Just not sure which of those will show the most benefit (havent finished reading this entire thread, lol).

As for cake (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) I only use cake for upping proficiencies, I'll do the arenas on normal or hard and make it thru with a little effort, ditto for IW on fine stuff, but normal exclusively for superior stuff (i get whacked pretty silly if i try hard+superior)

Thanks for the tips (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Appreciated~

Im a shield fag but now I want to have some extra damage. But I want to keep my rapier in my mainhand.
Do you guys think it would make sense to use a nice bleed/proc/parry shortswort in my offhand instead of my shield?

No more block but considerable parry so I can still grind my way up to the final levels of arenas without giving much attention to the screen.

Actually Yes. I've seen some shortswords that have bleed close to that of axes. (But the Proc % on that particular one was crap.)
So if you could find one with maximum bleed, good proc and high parry.. sure.
Although high parry on shortswords.. means something like 10~12 at your level. But that's enough to make up for the loss of bleed damage compared to axes. Especially since your offhand gets a parry boost of 50%.
Anyways I considered the same thing, but came to the conclusion that I'd need a friggin rare shortsword to pull it off.
