QUOTE(calibur @ May 3 2013, 15:07) Can someone tell me the time I have before the bazaar deletes items because there are too many? I seem to always see pretty good items just before they disappear into nothingness because I'm too busy checking base stats. Or is it instantaneous and I should just try to buy as soon as I see it.
On a side note, who sells mag longswords to the bazaar rather than salvaging them? It probably only sells for 2k or something.
There are people here who refresh their Bazaar page a gazillion times a day (well, give 'em the benefit of the doubt, anyway); they're the ones who snap stuff up immediately. Or, it could simply be someone doing a mass selloff and telling people about it on IRC. Whichever way, the Bazaar doesn't get rid of stuff immediately - for that, your culprit is a human. Are humans. For the most part.

I see. I should probably just not care about the bazaar then in that case. There were so many things that I could've used though. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/cry.gif)

Most likely, a lot of the cheap exquisites and certain other items (ethereal weapons of a certain type) as well as certian power armors, shade armor and phases are getting botted.
I saw a mag longsword a couple of days ago, I had just tried to buy an ethereal mace and when the page reloaded the mag was there, I tried to get it and it was gone. All I know was that it was 8K buy.

i read ehwiki.org arena section. it said token drop based on higher-level arena. what i want to mean here is token of blood. so does it means the difficult setting doesn't affect it? thanks.

So, this seems like the first sellable item that has ever dropped for me. If I'm reading the base stats right only the physical mitigation is bad, while everything else is exq max. Could someone confirm this? Edit: I forget that the script I'm using doesn't show PAB bases, so I don't know how good those are. http://hentaiverse.org/pages/showequip.php...;key=706aacb830This post has been edited by cfg123: May 3 2013, 08:25

The difficulty setting won't change the ratio between chaos tokens and blood tokens. I do think the clearing script's based on the number of equips in bazaar. That is, if there's too many equips, the script will auto-run and purge some of the equips. Whether a particular equip gets purged seems to be random though. Evidence: try to sell tons of equips (500-1000) at the same time to bazaar. You'll notice that almost all of them will be gone in a short period of time. This post has been edited by varst: May 3 2013, 08:36

Mages don't really care for PMI anyways. The PABs aren't max but aren't terrible at all. The EDB isn't maxed as well. I figured that was the case as well since I save up my equips before selling them. I just never bothered to time the time it takes for it to disappear. Its still annoying that all the mags/exquisite stuff disappear. You'd think if it were random at least some would survive the purge but then again that's rng for you. Or maybe some cheeky human/bot, who knows.

Why are stunned enemies still capable of parrying/evading? Doesn't make sense.

They can't evade. They can, however, parry. And no, TenB isn't likely to change it, and no, it never had made any sense, and no, complaining about it just gives him and Scorpio a deep warm glow inside, so ain't no point to it.

Oh yeah, I forgot about EDB. The script I'm using also doesn't show that. Any idea what the item would be worth?

Almost nothing, if you can even find a buyer. The EDB, INT, and WIS are far from superior-max, and you don't have people fighting each other over elemental gear.

It might be worth the HG when I send it to the forge! It feels more efficient to just forge everything, because the chance that something worth selling will drop is less than the chance that a legendary will drop. This post has been edited by cfg123: May 3 2013, 09:38

Got this and this. Forge food, right? Like every redwood? I have no idea what staffs are good this days... Well, except Kataloxes of Destruction with max MDB rolls.

Exquisite redwood is pretty much forge food, yes. You might net more credits than material value for a good one if you find a buyer, but not worth the hassle - there are so many of them.

I see, thanks. What should I keep from immediate forging/selling then? Exquisite+ kataloxes with at least superior-max rolls in all mains?

Nah; ebony was merged into redwood a couple of patches ago, so redwood is pretty much the main staff type for elemental mages now. If you find a Legendary Tempestuous Redwood Staff of Destruction with max stats all over, I'll pay you a lot for it. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) Oak and willow were also improved, so they aren't complete shit either. For staffs of the aforementioned three types though, the stats have to be amazing to justify keeping them around because the demand isn't as great. Katalox is still where the money is.

I figured your Leg Tempestuous Ebony of Destruction would be better than the Redwoods, but I don't think I've ever actually seen it linked. LMax MDB for Redwood appears to be 39.77, Ebony was 42.73. I've picked up an LMax-1 one (Ebony MMax), and it's looking like it'll be about on par with the Arctic Niflheim staff I have for coldscore (squeaking out a win by a few percent). But yeah, they do have to be bloody amazing to be worth keeping. I'd honestly say that if it's not (usefully) prefixed, it's going to be jank 99% of the time. Katalox is still where the money is. well, of course an elemental mage has to use a redwood staff so they are not useless, even if with so few elemental mages out there only the very best ones have a market. oak has a few uses too. but willow is just garbage. a decent katalox is better than a legendary demonic willow of destruction any time of the day. the anti-resist doesn't cut it.
