oops, wrong boots. Heres the right ones: http://hentaiverse.org/pages/showequip.php...;key=a33e0ba8ecWhy would I want to lose my Mana? it takes all of it, and one (or two) godly potions to do a 7-10 monster hourly IWTBH encounter. And as a Melee, don't I want to level up as fast as possible? This post has been edited by Nightwishman: Apr 22 2013, 23:19

Can anyone give me some tips for running schoolgirls (End of Days / The Twilight)? Currently I can't beat schoolgirls on anything higher than normal and it seems more of a waste to even bother running schoolgirls on normal at all since the exp/credits/drops are worse than if I just ran Longest Journey -> The Trio and the Tree on hell instead.
If I use a Mace I can reach the rounds where the schoolgirls appear (I think 51/100) on IWBTH but after that the girls just have so much HP that I can not take on more than 3-4 more rounds with the girls in them before running out of spirit/mana/pots. If I try to DW/Estoc I can't even reach the girls at all and end up depleted before even getting to when the girls appear.
Is the only way to get through this to spend millions on a godly weapon or am I just doing something wrong? Currently the buffs I keep on are:
Haste, Protection, Regen II, Absorb, Spirit Sheild, and Heartseeker

IWTBH for schoolgirls is going to be out of your reach for a while, going by the account of higher level players spending several hours on it.

Oh I forgot to say what I use on the enemies. I keep Imperil and Silence on the girls when I reach them. Still at best 3-4 rounds after the girls appear is my limit. I am down to about 4 mana pots and 1 spirit pot when I reach them. IWBTH was just an example of how I can reach the girls on that difficulty but as stated before I actually can just barely do it on hard and if I get unlucky with gem drops sometimes I can't even do it on hard. With the school girls the problem is not that I'm dying their HP is just immense and taking so long to kill them makes me have to use a lot of spirit in spirit stance and a lot more mana recasting my buffs and debuffs. have you ever tried using club/rapier DW and focus when they're stunned? for the spirit, you can use the soul spell to restore it.

QUOTE(irvin123455 @ Apr 22 2013, 15:25) Silence + nonstop mana regen via focus (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) I tried DW with Club/Rapier but have an even more difficult time since it only stuns 1 enemy I spend a lot more turns healing just to keep up with the damage. The soul spell to restore spirit is a nice idea though I forgot that the ability to drain SP from enemies even existed. I guess if I don't use spirit stance at all I can eventually whittle them down with using all my OC to restore MP then drain SP to get SP back to keep SS up. For the soul spell does it matter which one I use or should I just use the lowest tier one to save MP? I'll try that later today when Arena's reset. Thanks!

I was able to do schoolgirl arenas in my light/dw equipment by lvl 250 on IWBTH, so it's not impossible to do without amazing expensive equip. I just FB to start each round and end each round with Iris/Backstab on the girl to set up the next round. If you run out of mana use focus. If it takes a long time and resources are scarce, silence the girls and more focus; otherwise spirit shield + absorb will work. For me, the safety comes from 270+ OC frenzy basically kills all the non schoolgirls. While it may not be the absolute fastest way to finish, it did the work.

is monster evade parry affected by the level at which they spawn? Because while I haven't really been keeping track, It seems that the high pl monsters that spawn at my level evade parry a lot, and also some of the weaker monsters do as well, whereas if a high pl monster like elia spawns at the lowest level I can quite often kill them without them evade parry at all.

with more 6k atk , i still need around 1 hours to clear IWBTH beyond the cloud ( crappy drop reward (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) ) ... use focus for mana rec & soul magic for SP ( I rarely run out of SP , usualy run out of mana (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/cry.gif) )

Both level 100 ones have a chance to proc a debuff that will grant you 5% base SP and dissipate upon melee hit.

And as a Melee, don't I want to level up as fast as possible? maybe because magic tanks only increase your maximum mana but all the restoring effects are based on the BASE mana, so mana potions, mana gems, riddle masters will still restore the same amount. basically mana tanks only increase your starting mana pool and in the economy of a long arena/IW/GF it doesn't change much. it's still good to have some in order to be able to take the full effect of a godly mana potion followed by a mana gem or a riddlemaster. but maxing magic tanks is only good if you are running mana elixirs. myself i have skilled 9 levels of magic tanks, so 27 ability points for 81% bonus, and i feel no need for more of them right now. exp tanks are not bad per se, but you said that you felt weak so it's better to slow down the leveling speed in order to use the ability points in better stuff (spirit tanks and OC boosts) and also let your proficiencies catch up with your level. feel free to put points into them but only after having maxed health tanks, spirit tanks, OC boosts and the support/deprecating spells you need.
