I remember Hito found a 2turn 500dmg bleed axe, which I believe marcho bought from him.

I've just been defeated in Twisted Plots because my spark of life has "failed". I didn't know it could be possible.

Does anyone know what is the minimum spirit amount to have Spark of Life works in every case ? I was at 34/94.

Its dependant on your stats so it'll be different for everyone best to check sonic's calculator, for mine I need 62 spirit but I have a 466 total.

It's supposed to be 30% of base SP (i.e. before taking Spirit Tank into account), so there's something wrong somewhere.

Divine Proficiency (the prof that affects Holy-type offensive spells) is not the same as Holy Rating. Only Holy Rating affects Cure, and you can't increase your Rating by casting spells. Only Proficiency goes up from that.

Curative proficiency effects both Cure and Regen. I use this one to Staff/Plate grind, and the +19.41 Curative gives me an extra 8 HP per turn of Regen.

I have decided to keep my current Armor and Abilities and use the extra AP to buy 10% more Overcharge. While this set-up sucks in the Arena, it simply bulldozes through Flimsy-Fair Item Worlds. It does well in Average IW but, I can't go 40 rounds of Fine@Nornal. Since my goal is to raise various profs, this set-up is ideal. However, when I finally find a good Ethereal weapon, and think I am ready for Endgame and the Rings, I'll have to use a different set-up then this.

Oops, I flubbed my explanation a bit. I meant "Only Cure is affected by Holy Rating," since Regen doesn't benefit from it.

Did you have Bewilder up? If so, it should have preventing that Awww from critting. If you didn't have him Bewildered... oops?

Ok, I'm new to the 100+ club so can someone tell me are there any legendary in "Twisted Plots" like in "End Game", I mean in "End Game" in the last round there is Dalek, is there such thing in "Twisted Plots" ?

You can learn the entire contents of every arena up to the lvl 190 challenge "Eve of Death" over at the wiki page for the Arena. I'm really looking forward to eventually reaching lvl 170, so I can attempt Crusade. It has THREE bosses on the last round!

Question for the experts: What tier of monster shows up in "To Kill a God" and "Eve of Death"? Is it a Konata-tier monster (a "legendary" monster), or a "God" like Real Life? The name "To Kill A God" makes me think about Real Life, but it seems odd that the arena would skip straight from Dalek-level "Bosses" and go straight to "Gods," so I wanted to get confirmation from someone who's actually done those challenges.

Pretty sure Hito mentioned that he hadn't seen them anywhere besides Ring a few weeks ago, but that's not to say that he wouldn't run into RL in the last round of that arena...he just hasn't made it far enough to confirm or deny.

Here is my current weapon set-up:
Mainhand: Fine mithril rapier
Offhand: Average mithril dagger of slaughter

That gives me:
+45.2 % damage
+53.7 % hit chance
+5.4 % crit chance
+28.1 % parry

I just found:
Fine emerald rapier of slaughter

That puts me in a major quandary. Is 2 turns of PA worth +7% Damage?

My other choice is to wield BOTH rapiers which gives me the following stats:
+47.5 % damage
+45.8 % hit chance
+5.4 % crit chance
+26.3 % parry

In that case, I trade 1.8% parry for 2.5% Damage. This hypothetically also increases my chance of proc'ing PA because I can have it proc on an offhand strike.

So, what do people think?

No.

-1.7% dmg
-8% hit
-2% parry
No bleed

I think you'd see about +3-5% PA uptime by putting that dagger in your offhand. Though my math on that could be wrong, it's probably at least in the ballpark. Is 5% more PA uptime worth that much loss in other offensive stats? I'd say no.

So I finally did switch up my build to try out power-mage. I'm certainly liking how monster groups just melt in front of me, but my mana also melts away insanely fast. Maybe I'm doing something wrong? What actual strategy does one employ as a power-mage, in order to get the most bang for one's buck?

That gives me about +55 elemental prof, +15% magic dmg, +45% magic hit, +5% magic crit, 19.8% evade, 3.6% parry, and 11% resist. My base elemental prof is 59.2, and my staff prof is 60.7.

I've been building my primary stats for melee, so I have 82 of everything except INT, which is 53. I'm going to be putting EXP into INT again starting next level, now that my WIS is finally caught up with my STR/DEX/AGI/END.

Here's my abilities:


I went a little overboard on the spells, I think. Ending up with only 3 tiers of MP Tank and no HP tanks scares me a bit.

Get rid of the first tier elemental spells. IMO you don't need them unless you have AP to burn and want to get the associated elemental ratings - which you can't afford. You should also consider getting Purge and upping your Holy rating. Holy spells can be pretty useful against certain combinations of enemies (though the second tier spells are better, of course).

Doubt it, even if we assume you could its only given to ppl that belongs to the group "members" and above i think.

If you got one, then it'll be in your Items list. If not, then I imagine you're SOL.
