LOL At the moment I'm stuck in a fight to the death with FSM. And I don't think I'll walk out of this one.

TH Proficiency 106, Heavy Proficiency 71. I used 6 Godlys, 5 left. And I'm using a Superior Mace.

No, I didn't forget. But I wanted to know if I could kill FSM with my low proficiency items. I guess I cannot, yet. My dmg is too low and I need to figure out which spells to use and when in order to make the most of my limited mana.

I actually died because I let my Mana go all the way down and when I needed it I had to use a potion and FSM hit me right then and I died.

BTW: The mace I was using was Superior Tespestuous Mace of Slaughter

Weaken, Silence & Imperil are your friends. You could also enchant your mace with Infusion of Divinity to get the Holy Strike temporarily.

That did not occur to me.

If it takes you that long to kill him, focus when hes stunned. In the fight for longevity, infinite mana is good.

An Etheral Mace would also help with mana conservation and being faster; though a Etheral Mace + Holy Strike would be good too.

Alternatively, you can toss a point into Sleep and see if you can't do him with a Estoc, using the sleep as a psedu-stun to Focus up mana,

Never use crushing damage against FSM. Anything but void is like hitting a brick wall, lol. Also, why are you using a mace? Estoc man, estoc. You need penetrated armor against FSM. Really melee should always use DW for FSM though, imo.

You should change to DW if you don't want to change your mace to estoc (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

with DW ( axe & rapier ) , I just need around 230 - 270 turns to kill IWBTH FSM (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif)

I was asking because someone said Oak of Heimdall is one of the good staves.

And because after the equipment range, pricing of various equipment can vary... If all the stats are at the top of the range of values, how do you know how to price it? To me, it should be based on how useful it is to the fighting style and how much people at the higher levels can pay for it. But then they might already have good equips by then.

There are no set guidelines for pricing in this game. It varies based on supply and demand and whatever playstyle happens to be popular at the moment. So, you figure things out by browsing WTS and seeing how comparable items are priced.

WTS is already saturated with exquisite and higher items, so a superior without a good prefix and key stats up against the ceiling won't fetch enough to make the effort spent selling it off worthwhile. It's easier to just sell it to the Bazaar or donate it to one of those free shops.

Why play on IWBTH then? I just normal him.

This has been said again and again: Always do FSM on IWBTH (except for 1st clear).
If you're too weak to do it, then save all your Tokens until you can do it in a reasonable amount of time.
