I just beat the FSM on IWBTH. All you really need to kill it off is time and silence. It took me 20min around 1100 turns to kill it soo yeah. You can definitely kill it on IWBTH but make sure you keep some godly mana pots cause its a long haul.

I find Silence useless in FSM encounters, X-Nerfed + Weakened FSM doesn't do much DMG which Regen II couldn't heal. Absorb & Spirit Shield do the rest (precautions).

Note: I'm just going over armor here really. Weapons have a few exceptions at tier 2, since estoc, mace, rapier amd club still sell to the bazaar at tier one. So I salvage superiors of those weapons unless they are an ethereal one with good rolls. Also, sometimes I like to gamble on tier 2s if they are above exp /325, this is a personal decision though (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) (it seems to work out though I haven't kept track to see if I am actually coming out in the black).

Only Magnificent Plate of Protection are true keepers. Exquisite Plate of Protection is iffy, good rolls and you keep, bad rolls I say salvage. It's just too common these days.

Yes. Selling them to the bazaar is either worth close to or more than 1k. The best you can get from these is mid-grades which are worth 1k, but you will also get a lot of low-grades, so best just to take the money (especially in tier 3's case).

Well, for exquisites I bazaar troll phase. Also negation shade with bad rolls and non-slaughter power with shit rolls like no endurance. Exquisite kite and tower I generally bazaar too if they are non-barrier. Magnificent+ in this category is generally a keeper, as in worth more to sell to other players than to bazaar or salvage.

I know if it was a Hallowed Oak of Heimdall it'd be worth a lot more (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) . Meh, not sure that Oak of Focus will net you very much, even as hallowed. I would guess something like 40-50k maybe? Need a mage to confirm though.

No, it is not. According the wiki, 21.73 is the max for Mag Oak staff, it actually right at the max for Exq at 20.95 (with Magnificent being 21 something.

Don't know why people even nee SoL or SS or anything really other then maybe Regen II, Silence is all it takes to kill just about anything.

Maybe because you're rich and have better equips than the poorer people? IWBTH FSM has a huge hp pool. I have average gear but it still takes me around 600 turns to kill it while burning 3 godly mana pots and in spirit stance the majority of the time. That mace must be godly.

The original poster was asking if he could bump the difficulty and I said yes. I assumed you were talking about IWBTH too because you replied to how it took me forever to kill it on IWBTH with how you could kill it in <200 turns.

And I kill it on IWBTH because there's a 100% drop chance for equips for the arena award. Might as well try to get something good as opposed to getting guaranteed shit. Although I'm still getting shit at least its shit on a higher tier. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

I'm exploring the "possibility" of getting a elemental phase set.
Is it a good idea to outfit with a mix of the elements (Surtr/Niflheim/Mjolnir/Freyr) or just stick to one type when going into battle.

LOL At the moment I'm stuck in a fight to the death with FSM. And I don't think I'll walk out of this one.

TH Proficiency 106, Heavy Proficiency 71. I used 6 Godlys, 5 left. And I'm using a Superior Mace.
