ADB roll is pretty low, and as said before you won't really gain an edge by using estoc now, monsters' mit shouldn't really be that high at your level.

It actualy performs worse then my current eth mace. the bleeding woound isn't very helpful, and even though it has respectable damage; its burden really does kill me.

I'm sure leveled up it would be pretty good, but I can't do the IW's for it, even on normal.

Heroic maging isn't all that hard now (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) you just a "okay" set and you're good to go.

Used 6 godly mp pots to finish T&T on heroic ( Holy mage with great stamina )

To all those who want to be holy mages, it's not all that bad

Yeah, that staff's not great. Not because it's Tempestuous Freyr, but because it's bad Tempestuous Freyr. That doesn't even hit old Ebony MMAX EDB for a non-prefixed Freyr, and the Elemental prof is kinda balls (not sure how much that'll matter long term). Decent Prefix/Suffix match EDB looks like this (and that's not even max EDB, which is about another point higher IIRC).

Look at Material Costs here. There's two charts, one for damage and one for everything else.

An Exquisite is in either the 0.8-0.9 tier or the 0.9-1.0 tier. You can figure it out from the cost to forge an unforged stat, if it's 1 Low +4 Mid, it's 0.8 tier, if it's 5 Mid, it's 0.9 tier. If it's a low Exquisite it might be 0.7 tier (2 low, 3 mid). Once you know the tier you can figure out how far to HG from the chart.

i'm still not familiar with all the acronyms, i think a glossary page should be added to the wiki.

i have no idea what EPB is... proficiencies maybe?
also the spell damage is a scaling stat so saying 420+ doesn't mean anything, but i get what you are saying.

basically a good staff of destruction can have almost twice the magical damage of a good non destruction counterpart.
you may think EDB is better, but the magic damage of a good destruction staff is a huge chunk of your total magic damage, expecially when forged (you can forge magic damage up to +100% while you can only forge EDB up to +40%).
this is a rough estimate but i think a good forged staff or destruction you get 20-30% more magical damage than what you would get with a good non destruction staff.

even a perfect EDB suffix cannot compensate that since you get EDB from all your equipment, so the relative impact on your total EDB can't touch the 20-30% increase on your damage output you get with a destruction staff.

also the increase given by the pure magic damage is applied to any kind of spell and also to arcane blow where the EDB only affects the spells of that element.

so, huge win for the destruction faction.
