It looks awesome, but the problem is a lot of people don't want to use shields. People as melee don't want to go 1H. Price, I don't know, I have no idea. So my guess, with nice nimble but not awesome blocking would be around 50K. But this is a completely random guess...well, slightly random, with looking at the price other things are going at.


BIG QUESTION: Front page "Note that due to a change in database format, the next HV patch will feature an equipment wipe. MBP Tails will be handed out to compensate."

Does this mean I will lose all my equipment, including those old obsolete?

Bleh. I put AGI on par with STR and DEX now that it's been nerfed; use the leftover points for the occasional extra INT and WIS.

Lucky if you get 40-50k for it. Only legendary bucklers sell for a good amount. Battlecaster and barrier ones mostly. I'd either turn it into high-grade wood or keep it in my collection.

actually the block is 0.02 from perfect non barrier magnificent.

well the stats are really good but i guess there is not much demand for bucklers so only the very best can fetch a good price.

does anybody know the HOLY MAGE and the DARK MAGE which is stronger

Holy mage does better grinding lower difficulties due to having T2 and the proc lowering MMI.
Dark mage does better grinding higher difficulties due to having T4 (though you'll usually use T3 for MP reasons), the proc lowering incoming damage, and an ever so slightly better resist profile.

Both will tell you the other one is better. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

looking at the round compositions it looks like the level 240 arena should actually be easier than the level 220 one.
am i missing something?

i can do the 220 at heroic with my holy mage, maybe i could try it at nightmare but i would run out of mana potions almost for sure, expecially if i meet konata too often.

bah i guess i'll try my first attempt at hard, just to be safe.

It should be impossible to run out of MP in the schoolgirl marathons as a mage. Those schoolgirls are MP and SP batteries. You could probably do them on IWBTH if you had a lot of spare time on your hands.

i have a 4 rounds ET staff and i know i can refill my mana quite fast, but i don't want to waste an hour or more to clear one arena.

heroic is the max difficulty i can play the level 220 arena without having to go out of my way to save mana.
i just spam spells, take advantage of coaleshed mana and pop ET when it's convenient to do so and drink a potion when i'm running out of mana.

IW the weapon to get another elemental strike is nice. Even a 6% increase in attack speed make a great different. Armor only get element resist and HP/MP bonus, which not worth the time unless you can clear Hell+ IW fast.

Forging is a bit expensive for armor, so I am not recommend it at your level.

I'm trying to IW this estoc: http://hentaiverse.org/pages/showequip.php...;key=a64089234b its got 98 rounds in it; which I can do pretty easily on Hard without any potions...it'll just take a while to get it to 100; since I get bored of HV pretty quickly if I have to do long series of rounds like that..

Well, it's only 10 levels, so not quite as bad as 100. 98 rounds, maybe you should try it on Nintendo - shouldn't be too hard, and you won't have to level it for hundreds of times.

I've got a similar estoc, fully levelled, if you want it, for about 50k.

That estoc is not worth for IW or anything. really. You should not waste your stamina on IW yet, just play ALL arena on highest difficulty as you can, that's the best way for using stamina IMO.
