More like if only staff prof wasn't useless. Also how long until we just have no magic profs? Either way in MM v AB damage only counts if it hits, so unless you're trying to pick up an Ether Tap MM should stilll be the go to move.

That's not too shabby, especially if you've built up STR/DEX and have a good solid Staff.

Also, Ethereal Staff (and yes, they do drop) gives Void damage.

I'm not saying the damage isn't good, it is, it can be better than MM in some cases even. The issue is applying that damage, and since wyzards don't get any real help with phys hit rate MM is pretty much always going to be much more likely to actually do it's damage, making it generally better for mopping up a straggler or two.

I just finished End of Days on Heroic with 4/5 power and ethereal estoc, and it took me freaking 45 minutes. Is that normal at my level? Or was I doing something wrong. Some 3xx people here do it on IWBTH in less than 15 mins (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/cry.gif)

That's slow, though at your level it's understandable.

A good heavy player can probably clear IWBTH DwD in about 1.5 hours. I used to clear BT DwD in an hour, but that was a long time ago.

Three questions bugging me :

What's is more beneficial as dark mage : stack proficiency, magic damage bonus or mix the both to maximize my damage ?

Why hathes have particular price of 15k/each ? I know that market has its own laws, but from a perspective of a person without possibility to run H@H (upload connection 0,25 Mb FTW (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)) it's quite a lot. At best I can afford 4 hathes per day assuming I can earn 60k from arenas and sold trash gear.

Is there any info about cap of AP (100 ?) which one can get from offering artifacts in the shrine ?

Just take the equipment that adds more damage. If the proficiency/2 is equal or higher than the EDB of the phase equivalent, then it's okay to just take the demon-fiend equipment.

Because they are rare and Tenboro keeps adding desirable perks which raises demand. I've been running Hentai@Home for years and it still takes forever to accumulate enough hath to get the next perk.

No clue. Didn't even know there was such a limitation.

@Hath : Ok, but with such price it's next to impossible to get ANY valuable perk if you don't run a cluster of accounts running H@H (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) (Even if it's forbidden to have multiple accounts, it's not so hard to by-pass it). Until now I could only afford I & II More pages perks. Soooo...it only makes haths usable as a mean to earn cheap cash by selling these to less fortunate with their internet bandwidth.

MDB scales much better than prof.

And since the magic damage is like this:

magic_dmg = (mdb) * (1 + edb/100) * (1 + prof/200) * (1 + boost_bonus) * (1 + hath_bonus) * stamina_damage_factor

Doubling the mdb will yield more damage than doubling prof or edb. I suppose stacking mdb is more optimal. But remember, at some point, getting just 10 extra point of mdb can be much more expensive than get 50 points in edb, or 100 point in prof.

Well, what can I say. I can get 3 hath per day with Hentai@Home and download galleries at the same time. It takes long but with the occasional 2-3 hath from an artifact and selling things to other players for hath, I get by.
