How do I increase the rank of an Aura?

Actual question (not related to hv but idk where else to ask): Is there any way to search by keywords for posts that are by a specific user? E.g, say I want to search all the posts I've made in a thread that contain some word "asdf"

Thanks but the problem with the global search feature is that it either shows results as entire threads (useless) or mix all the posts in that forum. Is there an option when viewing a specific thread itself to search by poster?

Does playing at IWBTH level (let's say at least 50 rounds ) is more a matter of level and abilities or gear ? At 209 lvl I'm still unable to beat random encounters at this level of difficulty (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sleep.gif). Trying to catch up with Spirit Tank (so far 9 AP points put in it), but does it guarantee a comfortable game play at higher levels ?

^Well... You should have Spark or SS up at all times at IWBTH, but I don't like to play it, it takes ages. I do now that the higher you get, the easier the higher multipliers get.

A level ~200 full plate user should be able to survive 50 rounds in IWBTH grindfest.
Mage cannot survive in IWBTH more than 10 rounds, at least not for my non-upgraded phase armor at my level.

It depends on the gear, to make it to 50 rounds on IWBTH you need some pretty decent stuff. I'm using superior/exquisite and I can barely make it to 20. I don't have any hath perks however, so if you're running IA, rainbow aura etc then exquisite + mag should get you to 50 rounds.

I think I'll try again when I get 250 (aura upgrades), hopefully I'll be able to make it to further then.

My highest arena as mage is Schooltastic and it was before the patch.

And even with such disadvantage they want to nerf Imperil and AoE spells (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/dry.gif). I guess melee players have that minor advantage that upgrades doesn't concern physical dmg dealt to them.

Speaking of melee, what's the secret of survivability for melee players ? High block + evade ?

High HP, END, and PMI. Also, an void estoc. Assuming you do not have crazy upgraded weapon.
edit: also IA 1 for protection (some people use haste on the first IA slot)

Closest would probably be to "find member's posts" from your profile and then CTRL+F the desired topic. The general search either excludes some subforums or doesn't work fully.

Do Random Encounters happen EVERY hour or just have a chance to happen every hour?

You have 100% to trigger one when hour has passed since the last time one appeared.

The timer toward the next hourly encounter is started when the link to the hourly battle appear. And you do not need to finish it asap to make the next one come earlier.
