The trophy also plays a role in determining the "tier" of the item; for example, a Noodly Appendage has a higher chance of yielding a tier 3 item, like power armor or a katalox staff, than a Mithra's Flower.

So I've been doing hourlies on Nintendo and I've gotten a 50% success rate due to lolcrits.

Then I realized I was doing it wrong since I had Weaken already, and man did that make the fight so much easier.

Gonna attempt BT and if that works, IWBTH is next!

While reading through the wiki (again) for equipment, I noticed the arguement for DW with a club/rapier or axe/rapier combo, though the rapier is suggested to be a balance one. Which brings up an interesting question or two:

Primary weapon: My Axe vs My Club. Better Choice?

Offhand Weapon is currently My Rapier. Given my stats (shown below) would it be wiser to look for a Exq+ Eth Rapier of Balance or go with a Exq+ Eth Rapier of Slaughter?

I know about the armor to get rid of negation; just trying to find something that doesn't kill my other stats in the process. Spending most of my recent cash to get my mace maxed out didn't help the cause either.

I would choose the axe rather than your club, because your club is not void.

If you're going to use a shade set with dual-wield, you should definitely use a club. It's not even really a choice, imo. You need stun for your survivability (stun+evade can actually gives me better results than high PMI heavy armor). There a select few high PL's who can one-shot you with a strong piercing attack when you wear shade, with a club you can stun and kill them before they even have a chance. Of course, crushing damage really fucking sucks at high levels, plus with shade you don't want any burden since you rely heavily on evade. So really you can only use ethereal weapons if you use shade.

I don't remember ever seeing a mag+ ethereal club for sale since I started playing though. Not saying there hasn't been, just seems rare . . .

Balance. With high accuracy and high proc/turns. This will give you greater off-hand strike/crit which will make you proc PA faster and more often so you can get the 2x and 3x stack easier. Make sure you have at least 5 turns on it. If you can find one with 6 which is the max at your level (changes to 7 at level 320), this will keep it so the 3x PA doesn't run out on FSM and schoolgirls.

I would've bought it if it had 4 PABs (37 more levels until mine becomes 25%/4 turns (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/cry.gif) ). This was the best one I'd seen since HTTP sold one to Mantra for 2 million (that's the one I really wanted (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/anime_cry.gif) ).

Anyway, to RRViper, if you are going to stay with shade, you should probably try to get a club like this and a rapier like this. Ethereal slaughter club with high WD and 4 PABs and ethereal balance rapier with high accuracy+proc/turns and 4 PABs (4 PABs so you are guaranteed to get all butcher and swift strike).

1. the equipment scaling is permanent & common ?

for example, I gave my equip for another people, it's scaled stat remain? or be replaced by owner?

2. unequipped or even not bought item does scale?

Actually, every stats you see on an equipment is scaled to your level. If someone look at the same piece they'll see it scaled to them, simply as that. It doesn't matter if you wear it, or not.
