QUOTE(fishinsea @ Feb 4 2013, 12:03) First time playing heavy in awhile, almost died in battletoads trio (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) I seriously wonder how people with full power survive, almost ran out of mana curing with my 70.4% mit all-plate-except-power-protection-boots setup. Likely logicial AND with all below conditions: Heavy prof is zero; Not using Estoc; Not using spell Protection; Low supportive prof; And probably more nonsense

A question for frequent Mooglemail users, should I get Postage Paid? Could save on a lot using COD. Or should I just save up for IA?

Heavy prof is 198 Estoc is indeed crappy (but still 61 WD and dark + void and 24% 7 turn proc, wasn't as bad before but now the 23 burden is annoying) Supportive is 250, using protection haste regen sp shield and htseeker Probably just lack of any HV related hath perks, rainbow takes so long (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/sleep.gif) QUOTE(limitbreak @ Feb 4 2013, 00:45) A question for frequent Mooglemail users, should I get Postage Paid? You'd need to send 15000 mooglemails to cover the cost but it makes things more convinient (assuming no scam shinanigans that's been somewhat frequent recently (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/dry.gif))

Thanks fish! If I'm correct, I won't have to pay COD with the perk, right? Also, maybe you're not used to Heavy Melee yet. If you want, I'll moogle over some Feather shards.

postage pay is 10 hath (150k-160k) QUOTE(limitbreak @ Feb 4 2013, 06:17) Thanks fish! If I'm correct, I won't have to pay COD with the perk, right? Also, maybe you're not used to Heavy Melee yet. If you want, I'll moogle over some Feather shards.
ya, you won't have any COD fees if you get it. If you sell stuff worth 1000's of credits & like to use COD then you can make it worth it.

i see people selling thousands of crystals, is it so easy for some to get them? saw someone having over 100k of em. i spend hrs sometimes but i never get any significant amount.
is there some secret? or are they just botting...can't imagine ppl spending that many hrs farming them and if they do wouldn't the cost of the ED's make it unprofitable?

I do it w/ 65% pmi (and only 1 piece 13+). Balance killing speed w/ enough defense to not worry much, else it will take too long to kill stuff and you end up wasting more mana. And use regen2. QUOTE(holy_demon @ Feb 3 2013, 20:03) Which set would be better for fast clearing of arenas? Power of balance or Power of slaughter?
After having my attack parried in 4 consecutive time, I suppose having 50% crit (my current crit is 30%) is more important than high base damage.
Thought?
what difficulty? I wear 1 balance/slaughter/protection. My accuracy kinda sucks, so I need the +acc. You want enough acc so you can comfortably hold down keyboard keys and not worry about too many consecutive evades. Other than that, slaughter for damage. Substitute plate for power/protection for defensive needs only if you can handle the drop in mit. This post has been edited by etothex: Feb 4 2013, 09:14

some people have too much free time & then there are some that are just sick (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) once you get the crystal perks & have a very high level of scavenger it can be worth the time. So the more you grind the more you get back. Depending on your gear and what setting you play on getting 10k-30k crystals an hour shouldn't be too hard. you also don't need to use great stamina to do that, but even if you did the # of artifacts found should cover the cost of ED.

I think I already know the answer, but just to be on the safe side:
If I have a random encounter (on e-hentai.org), and I accidentaly click somewhere else, like forums, I have no way of still 'getting' the random encounter, right?

High proficiency, high hit chance, low interference (that's all I can think)

In my experience, if you accidentally navigate away, pressing the back button in your browser will return you to the page with the random encounter alert. As long as you are quick about it and you don't do anything that will cause the page to refresh, you should be able to get it back.

It's actually the bottleneck for mages.

QUOTE(pervdiz @ Feb 4 2013, 03:53) So, I've been trying to follow the wiki page of advices, been picking some stuff, and now I have some credits and some spare hath (running H@H for 4.5/day, recently got IA so 45 haths left). [attachmentid=22547 [attachmentid=22548 [attachmentid=22549 Stuff is: Exq Eth Club of SlaughterSup Hallowed Rapied of BalanceSup Kevlar Helmet of ProtectionExq Kevlar Breastplate of DeflectionFine Shade Gauntlets of the ShadowdancerFine Shade Leggings of the ShadowdancerFine Shade Boots of the ShadowdancerAnd sometimes I also use Exq Demonic Estoc of Slaughter, but damage output seems to be way lower than DW (domino doesn't seem to be making up for single target damage), evade and PMI are lower and interference is higher. My question is, what should I do now ? (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) (Also, what should I do with schoolgirls trophies ?) Your Two-handed damage is probably lower because your estoc isn't ethereal or hollowforged. Enchant it with a Voidseeker shard and then see what the damage is like. Regarding schoolgirl trophies, do whatever you want. Turn them in, sell them to the Bazaar, or check WTB to see if there's anyone looking for them. They are pretty much trash trophies. Well, you seem to be on the right track with everything. The only thing that I can think of recommending is getting a few levels of the Pack Rat training. It costs 300k to max, and if you can afford that, which you probably can since you have a hath income, then go for it. Other than that, keep grinding.

pervdiz: At your level, PA isn't that good yet nor do you receive the AoE bonus from 2h, not that the arenas have often places where it'd be significant anyway, as generally with 5- monsters DW tends to be better.
billyismad: Not much. Magnet, elec proc and focus all give anti-resist, but...They're not that useful - best you can do is probably using swiftness scrolls with agile phase before you hit the speed cap to use focus against waves of mobs(mobs slow down in numbers) without getting it, then following it up with your spell of choice. If you spend millions you can get ok damage out of oak or willow, but in first case you generally lose too much time and money to do it(forging AGI doesn't help either, as it needs to be around 150% supmaxagi+level agi at this level...plus monsters become faster faster than you) and second case is again so expensive that you're better off usually paying some serious attention to evade/agi on phase - in fact, supportive prof on oak helps more than the AR.

thanks for the advice, i don't have access to magnet and i think casting focus is not worth the risk so i'll focus on getting my prof higher and hope the RNG helps me next time

How should mages set up their Primary Attributes?
I usually keep my Strength, Dexterity, Agility and Endurance at my current level and spend all remaining EXP on Intelligence and Wisdom. I'm not sure that's the best way to do things though. Is there a recommended setup?

I used to think that crit ignore parry/resist, but I was wrong (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) And having 5 attacks parried on the same monster is annoying, especially when I was in spirit stance. Overcharge wasted (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/cry.gif)
