Despite the PA and mitigation nerf, I still feel that heavy/estoc is the best two-hand build you can go with. Generally you mix high mitigation/endurance plate of protection with a couple of pieces of high ADB slaughter and an estoc with a lot of damage.

Generally speaking heavy armour set is more recomended for better defense, especially plate armour.
But now we have new version of HV with some change in game balance so maybe you need someone that have both kevlar and heavy armour set(at same quality, compare magnificent set with exquisite set did not look good to me) to try it and give you recommendation

Meh, I'm probably not the best person to answer about two-hand though as it isn't even my main style. Shade with really high evade and a mace is a very viable build too (so is kevlar of protection, it's a lot easier on your interference than heavy plus you get better resist and evade). Evade and block were two damage reductions that weren't nerfed in the recent patch so that might be something to look into.

You know, I was expecting the (inflated) price for ethereal mace to fall when T make penetrated armour stack.
But now after some fix, the skill will give max penetrated armour again.
And I won't able to snatch a legendary mace with that (inflated) price (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif)

I'm still sticking with the MACE TO THE FACE build, and it's working out ok post-patch. I just need to not be lazy and use all my buff spells in high level arenas and hourlies.

Sup guys, it's been like 20 pages since I last read this thread. And 0.7.3 came out and stuff, now I have to fix my char sim XD

Doesn't this make base PMI way more important than PABs now for plate? And the hard cap of 80 does not apply to the protection spell right, because my PMI doesn't seem to have tanked that hard.

I seem to still be able to do my arenas on the same difficulty levels, got a timely IA3 to counter my interference skyrocketing. Unfortunately, IWBTH schoolgirl marathons are getting further and further away from me.

But this may be time to seriously consider 'mulitclassing' more, I was getting bored doing heavy/2h all the time anyways...

Do you guys generally have to use a shitload of potions to keep all those buffs up? I mean, my full mp probably only lasts two "rounds of buffs".

At some point, you stop using health pots, so I've been accumulating them like crazy. For mana pots, hourly battles supply me for arenas with surplus usually. I currently have around 1100 godly mana pots and that number is still rising.

Spirit pots on the other hand don't seem to drop nearly as often, but I rarely ever use them.

just wondering what primary attributes i should go for at low level seen 3 different pieces of advice go mage cos everyone does or have them all level and finally strength and endurance so am a little confussed i am a duel hand axe and dagger and trying for all gossamer of elimentalist

For now try to keep all the primary attributes balance. You can keep Strength and endurance a little bit high since you are playing as melee but according to wiki its good to keep all the states balance at least till lvl 50

If you want to play with different sets, keep your unmodified attributes balanced (or close to). The attribute bonuses from your gears (unless they're junk) will automatically give you the right modified attribute distribution for playing the respective class.

If you're asking whether a mixed/hybrid class is viable, then no—they don't work.

refined aura is no longer trainable ...even couple of days back I asked the experts here whether its possible to equip all the auras and they said yes ...but what now ? Is it temporary or permanent ? These types of random changes is not funny at all (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

The only thing that limits the number auras is now the number of aura points you can get.
