QUOTE(Nightwishman @ Jan 17 2013, 04:38) Ok, so I can ease through FSM on Normal...
But as soon as I switched to Hard...not a chance....
Is that, normal, at my level? FSM is pretty damn easy ..even after the buff. But going to just Hard made it impossible even with 6 godly mana potions, silence and spark of life.
Use a void weapon (it has resitance to all damage types), PA (even at your level it should have quite a ton of mitigation) and well.. more potions. If you have the former two, I don't really see why you'd have trouble with it on hard. Infusions are also handy, but eh.. kinda wasted on non-IWBTH. -insert obligatory do it once for the clear bonus then save up for IWBTH comment-

QUOTE(Colman @ Jan 16 2013, 22:28) This question have been raised a few times but since the new grindfest have double drop (items + crystals) and making "Scavenger" become more worthy then before. I would like to know high level players would have what level of "Scavenger"?
QUOTE(varst @ Dec 8 2012, 13:12) The recent route I've seen is like: Scavenger ~ 35-40, QM ~ 12 - 15, then push LotD to max, hoping that you'll get enough good drops to cover the cost.

If you can't do it on IWBTH (which should be cake after level 170 with spirit shield) then just save the blood tokens. I think I did it on hell at around 120; ethereal weapons and penetrate armor greatly boosts damage, DW axe/club + rapier is the way to go. Also, I don't see any reason to keep up both spark and silence as they do pretty much the same thing; weaken + silence should be more efficient. Pack Rat is your friend. You walk in there with 11 Mana and 2 Spirit, he's not a problem. But the big breaks come at 150 and 190 with Regen II (stupidly MP-efficient healing, should keep up with his damage without breaking a sweat) and Spirit Shield. Regen II basically handed me the IWBTH RoB Gods on a platter (though they have more HP now, but IWBTH FSM when I did it = BT FSM today, with 20% more damage). Spirit Shield means you don't need Silence to deal with his specials, just Weaken (I add Slow and Imperil to the mix as well).

Damage you do to FSM is inconsequential, it's gona take a long time regardless. Make it so you don't get killed or lose too much mana and hold down 1. Silence is the more reliable than spark since you won't take big hits. Stun cuts down his damage to you by at least a factor of 3.

Hi, I have a question about the bonus given by the auras bought through Hath Perks (Black, White, Rainbow).
My question is about one particular bonus from the three auras.
Black: +10% Magic Points White: +10% Health Points Rainbow: +50% Health/Magic/Spirit Points "regeneration"
All auras give pretty much the same bonuses but those particular bonus are phrased differently and I was wondering if it was a mistake or it the black and white aura gave a different bonus than the rainbow one.
One says regeneration and the other two do not.
I'm trying to decide which aura to go for when I get enough hath (not anytime soon since I'm at 131 Hath atm <,<).

I am a Ice mage currently. What are the advantages of Divine/Forbidden over Elemental?
What is better between Divine and Forbidden?

Those are outdated descriptions; please look here: http://ehwiki.org/wiki/AurasQUOTE(YinX @ Jan 16 2013, 21:14) I am a Ice mage currently. What are the advantages of Divine/Forbidden over Elemental?

Main advantage of holy/dark? You don't have to deal with this shit: http://ehwiki.org/wiki/Monster_Lab#Colored_ChartOther than that, a two-spell cycle, procs that reduce mitigation and damage, better healing from Cure spells (holy EDB bonus), access to T4 (Ragnarok), and probably another thing or two that I can't recall. The prices of katalox staffs and Heimdall and Fenrir phase are pretty ridiculous right now, though.

resist chance http://ehwiki.org/wiki/Monster_Lab#Colored_Chartexplosion cycle http://ehwiki.org/wiki/Spells#Status_Effects explosion also ragnarok has bigger base damage than banish or other t3 elemental QUOTE(kakashi524 @ Jan 17 2013, 12:03) All auras give pretty much the same bonuses but those particular bonus are phrased differently and I was wondering if it was a mistake or it the black and white aura gave a different bonus than the rainbow one.

black and white is kinda like HP/MP tank, it enlarge HP/MP by 10% CODE Health Points = (50 + Level * 10 + STR + END * 5) * HP Tank Modifier * white_aura_bonus Magic Points = (10 + Level + INT * 0.25 + WIS * 0.75) * MP Tank Modifier * black_aura_bonus while rainbow gave you 50% HP&MP regen (you can see your Health regen and Magic regen under Derived Attributes on Character window) if I had to pick one, rainbow is the most useful This post has been edited by aiwotorimodose: Jan 17 2013, 07:41

After the recent patch which decrease Scavenger's cost, I would probably try: Scavenger ~ 41~45, QM ~ 12 - 15, then push LotD to max. It still follows my 'average the cost' philosophy while LotD hopefully can recover its value through drops. I would say rainbow. Black/white is just like extra tanks as aiwotorimodose said; rainbow actually regen your HP/MP/SP in and out of battles. It's especially good for melee who has higher interference than mages in general. They've always been ridiculous since the time when you can no longer one-shot anything with elemental spells. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

So, I've got a decent setup, but at the present I'm a dual-wielder with shade equipment, and I can handle the Arenas up to Nightmare difficulty. But the latest Arenas with the DW setup is long and tedious. Is this why there preference for two handed weapons, especially estocs for the PA? Also, since I'm now in the market for an ethereal two handed estoc now, what sort of comparable stats should it have to what I have now? Edit: Any examples of an estoc to look for would be greatly appreciated, as well. Thanks both @varst and @aiwotorimodose. I guess I'll have to wait close to a year to get enough credits to buy the haths.

I have a question that's been bothering me for a while now. Does the trophy you get from IWBTH FSM give you better equipment than the trophy you get from Normal FSM?

Killing IWBTH FSM can net you some good loots though, unlike normal FSM.

QUOTE(RiderofDark @ Jan 17 2013, 06:14)
Unless you have an IA slot for spark of life, you're probably better off with a mace instead of estoc when using shade, or at least until you manage to get a fair bit of physical mitigation. Getting hit hurts as you are aware and losing the parry bonus from DW means you'll want stun to help limit the damage somewhat. Another option is to mix kevlar & shade like Evil Scorpio does.

Could anyone tell me what a Magnificent Plate Helmet of the Thrice Blessed be worth?
Stats - Heavy Armor Lvl 0 0/346 Physical Mitigation %9.74 Magical Mitigation %6.78 Burden 12.03 Interference 12.72 Crushing +4.90 Slashing +7.59 Piercing +7.91 Holy +20.02 Strength +17.00 Endurance +20.64 Agility +10.92
Or should I just scrap it? Seems good to me but not sure what the value would be.
