Playing at a higher difficulty has a bigger impact than LotD. You can still get crudes even at 20 if you play on Normal.

I'm getting crudes occasionally even on IWBTH. If your original roll is shit, it's not gonna get better no matter how much LotD or diff you play on because those are only multipliers. (Difficulty adds an some quality too apparently) On the other hand, if you get an amazing base roll, training improves the quality by a lot. Superiors are pretty commonplace in battletoads though.

that must be because your popup doesn't show an address bar. try to view it as a tab.

Just finished leveling my Estoc!

It's been so long I hardly remember what I was doing in HV before I started.

It's been so long I hardly remember what I was doing in HV before I started.

I don't know much about Estocs, but that is a nice Estoc indeed.

To take on FSM, what is the best recommended setup for a melee? It has been a long time ago since I last it on.

Dual wielding - 52.68

You need to have Silence or Spark of Life (Silence is better for my setup at least,) as well as enough mana potions and/or spirit potions to keep one or the other up. At your level, Silence should be enough, then just either Mace/Club-Shield or Estoc/ DW Mace-Rapier. Since your 2H already, just go with it and some heavy armor. Keep Haste up, and heal when you need it and keep Silence active (I always recast when it is down to 2 rounds left on the timer.)

I just got to 150 and the advice page suggests switching to holy/dark spells (also for the schoolgirls). Do I focus on only one or both? Kind of confused because I usually use 3 AoE spells and cycle through them.

What armour and weapon do you guys suggest for the new playstyle? The wiki is lagging like crap right now so I can't really check, but it can't hurt to have a second opinion.

I'm gonna dial back and stop actively leveling because my proficiencies are hurting real bad since I haven't really done any real battles besides IWBTH hourly (70-90% exp per battle... too hard to resist).

not sure how long you've been gone but reading the patch notes should help, schoolgirls and stuff have 2x the HP now.

Welcome back. no $$ in grindfest. No crysfest. bazaar shits back to being sellable. FSM has 2x hp.

Your armor type doesn't matter too much I think. Mace/club for stun seems extremely nice to me. DW skills do a ton of damage with good overcharge. Penetrated armor is very important as well, either from offhand rapier or even 2h skill. I prefer keeping up silence over spirit shield and spark of life, its very consistent.
