QUOTE(Bonebuster @ Jan 12 2013, 18:34) Your advice doesn't sound like you play light+mace, do you? - mace is fine for shade, as it is safer - using skills instead of spirit stance is good, the penetrated armor proc from rending blow will help more than the damage boost from SS, however, don't use shatter strike - it'd be best to have GC->RB available at the start of every round, use spare OC for SS or focus - if you lose more mana pots than you gain maybe try lowering the difficulty until you get spirit shield (dunno about that, never had that issue) - for your mana issues:try using only haste, SV and use SoL instead of protection, it's a better one-shot protection, also only use heartseeker after a channeling proc, otherwise I don't know how you can burn that much mana. remember to activate spirit stance when recasting buffs - don't worry about profs yet, took me until now to get my armor prof up to my level Other than that, wait for some advice from T_Starrk regarding your equip. at high level you should be able to just use all the prebuffs unless you're lazy. most high levels have a few levels of IA that makes things more convenient as well (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

When people refer to "schoolgirl marathons" are they talking about the Lv220+ arenas? I just did my very first clear of the Lv220 with a 2H and it was brutally tedious. Think it's time to train up DW.
Also, is IA just purely for convenience or is it more mana efficient? Or saves turns?

Well...they're more brutal now because every bosses/legends/gods get their HP buffed. It surely will make things more difficult for players at your level. IA can do all of the things you've mentioned.

All of the above By the way, I'm also training up DW prof, is there any other advantage to do it in crude IW aside from not getting hit so hard? I'm doing it in GF on IWBTH, and it seem to be working out, and I get a bit more exp than doing it in IW This post has been edited by holerider: Jan 12 2013, 20:50

No, and that's why people should only use crude IW when necessary. I just train my DW in the first few arenas, and it's good to have some experience in actual battles using the equip set. The more a player use the set, the more insight one can get.

QUOTE(holerider @ Jan 12 2013, 20:01) So it wasn't just my imagination that schoolgirls took longer to kill than usual. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Didn't notice any difference in FSM last night and didn't se any new patchnotes either, that's why I was confused, thanks.

I only have one slot if IA, that I use for Haste. My connection has a good download speed but a very poor upload rate (90 KB/s), so I don't do H@H. Almost all ADSL connections in France are like that (even though I live in the center of Lyon, second biggest town in the country), so I can't really help it. Hence, I'll get IA 2 when I have enough credits to buy 100 haths, which will be muuuuch later.

How exactly does the scaling of monster difficulty of IW work per the quality of the item? Does it limit the max level of the monsters you encounter?

I don't run H@H either, but am pretty close to having enough Hath to get the first IA slot. Been mostly getting hath thru xmas presents and artifacts.

The first 50 to get IA isn't that bad. It's when you realise you have to do it all over again and then some for IA2 (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/cry.gif)

It's less damage. Monsters in a legendary IW will do about the same damage as in GF, while in a fine it'll be ~half damage. I think you can pretty much directly multiply the GF damage with the quality of the item. (being (PXP(0)-100)/250)

I'm accumulating junks (average & below equipments) in my inventory. How many times of training Luck of the Draw does it take so monsters start dropping Superior & above equipments?
Is there any demands for junks in WTS?

Playing at a higher difficulty has a bigger impact than LotD. You can still get crudes even at 20 if you play on Normal. QUOTE Is there any demands for junks in WTS? I'll buy any crude ebony staffs.
