I always get shit, can't even recall the last time I saved a drop from it.

Overcharge isn't important, same with spirit stance.
But Spirit Tank is important after you get Spark of Life, as SoL use spirit to save you from afterlife. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif)

When turning in trophies at The Shrine, does a player's level play a part in the quality of the item awarded?
From what I've read based on the EHWiki Shrine page, it only mentions a roll & the quality of the trophy itself.

How is this roll determined?

As these trophies can now be traded on the Bazaar & forums, should I put my lower quality up for trade, or just turn them in to the Shrine? (in the hope of getting a better quality item from Snowflake & perhaps then trade it off later)

Give the player a roll on the equipment loot table. Players can choose between the seven major types of equipment (1-Handed, 2-Handed, Staff, Shield, Cloth armor, Light armor, and Heavy armor). The rarity of the trophy determines how large the bonus to the equipment roll is.

Trophies are hierarchically ranked into 4 tiers:

The four Boss monster trophies
Konata's trophy (Lock of Blue Hair)
The remaining three Legendary-class monster trophies (Mikuru, Asakura, Yuki)
The God-class monster trophies (Real Life, Invisible Pink Unicorn, Flying Spaghetti Monster, and Yggdrasil).
Have a ~2-4% chance of generating "Magnificent" or "Legendary" equipment.

The special ticket items from the monthly Toplists also fall within these four tiers, depending on their loot quality and tier bonuses. (e.g. Platinum Ticket is the same as Noodly Appendage.)

Keep your STR about say 15-20 points behind your END, and DEX another 5 points behind that, and keep your END about even with your WIS (yeah, END is important).

Spirit Stance and Overcharge are mostly to be ignored until you're ETing a lot of targets (waaaay later). They're mostly a melee thing. Spirit Points are VERY important once you hit 100 for Spark of Life and then 190 for Spirit Shield (glorious Spirit Shield, no more 4k+ crits to the face!).

Regarding Ice:

Look at my signature. That Niflheim gear is enough to consistently run Trio and the Tree on Hell easily or Nintendo with a bit of random bullshit at my level. It cost about 2.5 million credits. That Fenrir would be enough to do the same, were my profs worth shit. It cost about 400k credits.

Unless you are dedicated to Ice in some way, start gathering Heimdall shit together. Holy/Dark is better than Elemental on a straight mechanical level (2-spell cycle, no monsters natively resist both except Elementals). That said, I'm kind of stubborn about my Nif set. Little bit. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) You'll really want to be switching about either 90 or 150, when Tier 3 Holy and Dark (respectively) become availablle. Purge alone is trollable by Celestials, Mechs and some Elementals.

That's actually a lot of credits.

280k isn't a lot and the few things I saved are worth more then that. I could have saved more and put them in a shop (but i'm lazy) or I could have salvaged a lot of it for materials and made up the difference and then some.

I was going to save the trophies until i had 1000 of each then dump them all but with the change in prices I tossed them all + about 150-200 items I was holding. The sad thing is I'm still at ~850 equipment, I need a horders hath perk (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)
