Protection: "Each physical and magical mitigation from equipment is applied again, at 100% value"
does this include specific damage type mitigation (crushing, slashing, wind, cold, etc)?

No. It's just physical/magical mitigation.

QUOTE(Nottle @ Dec 21 2012, 23:13) Hello, I want to reconstruct my shop. It would be nice, if someone would find the time to take a look look and says which equip prices are way of and which equips should be just sold/salvaged. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) https://forums.e-hentai.org/index.php?showtopic=94613Um...throw away shortsword, longsword, average thingy, cotton, leather, warding heavy, non-protection plate (except the ex one). As for others...I don't know. The price seems good for new players, but I'm not sure if there's really a market nowadays...

Given the new changes introduced by the NO 501ST FOR YOU patch, you have to wonder. Equips now sell for more in the Bazaar, and anything short of Exq+ was never really gonna shift in a WTS anyway. And now, credits are gonna be a bit more difficult to farm.
Came back to HV after a couple of weeks and suddenly, the whole thing's changed. Thank goodness I never spent all that moolah on trainings, or relied on Grindfest for my finances. But not seeing 501st (except maybe in IWBTH REs) is a bit of a downer, I must admit.

No, that pant is bazaar trash Yes, create monsters if you dont have one already, they will bring gifts. Popular choices at low PL are Giants, Spirites, and Elementals (if you can, focus END/STR for Giants and WIS/INT for Elementals) You dont have to invest too many crystals, but PL25 is a good starter and you can invest or not further the higher up, 99PL probably good (Spirite is 400PL)

PL25s are always good investment, they pay off about as fast as first few levels of scavenger or sth. And cost about as much. The chance for rare mats is nice if anything. Raising them past that, well, depending on the situation they'll end up in it'll take sth between half a year to year to pay off.
While I personally make sure to keep the classes of my monsters balanced, tbh something like Celestial, elemental or Sprite needs high END - thus high PL to be truly dangerous. They can still nail players luckily, and if they're dependent on oneshots best time would preferably at 99. It takes a while for giants to be not most generally dangerous monsters - the pure damage over PL is significant - but there are other niches that can kill players well, as strong skills can wear down spirit faster and monster that is impervious to element with healthy amount of health always annoys most mages.
Until you start actively battling in fest, focus on your chaos tokens on maximizing gift chance.

QUOTE(MuffDiver99 @ Dec 21 2012, 19:36) does doing item world on weapons with existing elemental attacks get hollowforged too? what weapons should I do item world on? I am guessing 2 hand weapons are worth more bucks, but is any of these weapons worth grinding on? http://hentaiverse.org/pages/showequip.php...;key=fdaf1e03efhttp://hentaiverse.org/pages/showequip.php...;key=d09984f7c3http://hentaiverse.org/pages/showequip.php...;key=ccfd5d9009http://hentaiverse.org/pages/showequip.php...;key=b758ab29dbor should I wait till I get ethereal 2 hand weapons b4 I do item world? Yes, all non-void weapons do get hallowforged at IW lvl10, ethereal weapons get an Elemental Strike Frankly, none of those weapons worth the IW effort. Only Magnficient/Legendary weapons are worth to IW, Exquisite is just too common for replacement nowadays. Demonic/Hallowed/Astral/Ethereal weapons, especially Slaughter, are worth IW. 3PAB is better than 2PAB because you get higher chance of getting Butcher/Swiftstrike than just another level in END. Even so, you should hold off IWing until at least you get Heartseeker/Spirit Shield. This post has been edited by Coma: Dec 21 2012, 19:43

Yes, those weapons which elemental prefixes still get hollowforged at lv.10 potency. I don't think any of those weapons should worth the time and effort to be IWed though. In fact, you should find some better weapons in WTS before spending time in IW. You'll need some very good superior or exquisite+ 2H of slaughter to worth the time spent. Also, you should focus on leveling first. IW isn't impossible at your level, but it should be much easier once you reach high level. Well...if a player only aim at some level 2-3 potency, even exquisite weapon should worth it. This post has been edited by varst: Dec 21 2012, 19:47

QUOTE(Arxdewn @ Dec 21 2012, 02:26) So how long does/should an IWBTH FSM kill take? I have a feeling it took me a lot longer than average . . . . QUOTE(Arxdewn @ Dec 21 2012, 03:51) Magnificent Astral Axe of SlaughterExquisite Rapier of BalanceSuperior Shade Helmet of the FleetExquisite Kevlar Breastplate of ProtectionExquisite Kevlar Gauntlets of ProtectionExquisite Kevlar Leggings of ProtectionSuperior Kevlar Boots of ProtectionI kept up Regen 2, Heartseeker, Haste, with some Protection; Weaken and Silence on FSM. I would go SS around when I would have to refresh a few spells like Regen, then smash the rest of the SS. Obviously no club or ethereal, but that still took forever. it took me 1000 turns at that level with 2hand =P. Much easier past 200. I DW w/ a shitty thrown together set of shade and it takes me 180-230 turns now, at lvl 210 it was about 300 turns (just a bit over 100 DW prof for frenzy). I use eth axe / normal slaughter rapier. You must use void mainhand to keep your sanity; better than hallowed (non-max IWed) due to skill damage ignoring elemental strikes. your offhand rapier's duration is too short; so PA won't be up as much as to be effective. Slaughter rapier is better for off hand in 1 vs 1 due to higher physical damage stat which is used for frenzied blows, which is where 90% of your damage should come from. Don't need silence; just use spirit shield. This saves you from lots of curse-weaving failures. strategy is max oc, wait for PA, use iris strike -> hit 4 times to build OC => use Backstab => hit 3 times, activate Spirit Stance (when counter is 1) => when counter is zero, use Frenzied blows. You shouldn't complete the chain if you lose PA on the turn to use Frenzied blows, and 2 turn PA rapier won't be able to keep PA up through the chain effectively.

http://hentaiverse.org/pages/showequip.php...;key=a6da2562e2Here's my MAX'd ethereal. It got dark strike and would occasionally hit for a bit of dark damage. Not extremely worth the time it took, but it does add to my damage output so I don't regret it.

But that's exactly why I asked that. To get a feel for what others would do.

Like I said, it varies from people to people. If I were you, I would try improve my Heavy Armor asap, either via Noodles or WTS. But since I am not you and I have better Power than yours, I usually shrine for 2H instead.
