The maths is correct, but you get 2 chaos upgrade at every 50 PL.

Is it normal for me to use focus a lot?

Well it depends on how u fight.

But Im using focus always before the round ends . I cast weaken on the last monster (depends on which difficullty) and spam focus till my Oc is empty.
This way I can get the mana back I lost during the round.

Yeah, I do pretty much the exact thing. I dump all my focus at the last mob to get mana back.

That's depend on the equipment. Popular equipment sold with high price on the WTS(heimdall, fenrir, power of slaughter, etc). And you can salvage unpopular equipment with troll PAB & unpopular prefix

Yeah i meant the low equipment of course^^. But Im just not sure if its more worth to sell it for 1-400c or to salvage it.

and here i was wondering why i dint earn any credit on grindfest.

Could I get an aprox value of the bindings (slaughter, protection, etc) and rare upgrade pieces (phazon, shade, etc)? I see wildly differing prices of up to 30k.

You mean those listed in WTS/WTB? There's no 'recommended' price here. You'll need to check individual threads for the price they're offering.
