IW&Forge are obligatory or just an extra and you can do fine without those?

The former is doable if you have too much time, the later is for the catgirls


Check WTS for better ethereal weapons, for Slaughter, you only look at AD and PABs (must have STR). Since the recent patches, ethereal is now more frequent and cheaper to afford.

For DW I'd advise mainhand axe/offhand rapier, or mainhand club/offhand rapier. For 2H the best is estoc. Slaughter suffix is the most powerful, Balance gives you better accuracy, Illithid/Battlecaster can save your mana. Ethereal ones are preferrable, but you can try elemental ones as well. Speaking of Grumpymal, I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask this but how did he change his name? Cause I misspelled mine and would love to fix it.

In other news, lvl 200 isn't treating me any more badly than expected, but I can't remember who was quoting figures the other day and I fall a little short. My PMI is more or less up to par, I have 64%, but my DPS is pretty sucky at a mere 2750. I think after I max my new weapon (which is taking way longer than I'd hoped) I'll have something like 2900, but I believe the quoted number was 3600 at lvl 220. I'm not sure if I'll make up that difference in 19 levels. At least it'll be demonic for some extra punch against pesky humanoids.

I do have almost balanced stats though, because I wanted to try my hand at magery a bit. (INT|WIS +5 = DEX|AGI) +5 = STR|END

The only things that matter are stats/rolls, and if your sups/fines are good enough, and replacing them w/ an exq that is actually an upgrade and not a troll requires fraudulent amounts of credits, don't bother.

and what's the earliest you can get hit by an mp/sp attack? Can they launch it first turn? Earliest i've seen is 3rd turn.

MP/SP regen are fixed and increase every time a monster moves (I have seen Eila recover 15% MP/SP during her triple-tap) It is 5% per tap.

I suggested Exquisites because they are much cheaper than before and it is easy to get if you camp WTS long enough. A Protection Power, with STR and END, usually cost around 30~50k, depending on slot type. I got full exquisite with less than 300k budget, and the stats performance are way better than my old Superior, which I acquired with 50k budget.

The reason I stuck to my sups and even those fine gloves is because many people think they can charge stupid amounts of money for exquisities. I camp WTS every so often but haven't been able to find deals. That said, I recently bought a weapon that I don't want to change until at least 250-270, so I suppose I'm willing to drop 3-500k each for say 2 pieces of mag armor. I'm watching auctions more than shops just because I've found that what hasn't already sold at shops tends to be either too expensive or only barely better and not worth the credits.

If we're counting turns by monster turns, I've been hit on the 1st turn once, and the 2nd turn several times. The increase is definitely a fixed 5% for both MP and SP, but I haven't really been paying attention to the starting values. I'll start observing now and see if I can't figure something out.

I basically have programmed myself to always cast spirit shield now (if it's not on IA) no matter the difficulty, because i seem to have awesome luck in getting critted in the first few turns. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/cry.gif)



Dunno when you bought yours Coma, but power of protection helm/legs/body that costs < 50k is guaranteed to be no better than a superior in today's market.

I have a few questions that I wanted to ask:

1. How would I go about linking my equipment in my sig. I saw the format for linking Karma but not one for equipment.

2. Does absorb only proc when you use an attack elemental spell or can it also proc with an elemental weapon proc? I tried using debuffs to see if that would proc absorb but it seems it needs to be magical damage?

3. What would you guys recommend for how many AP to put into debuffs (weaken, imperial, etc). With buffs I usually put max AP on them (to get the most out of them) but with debuffs it seems I shouldn't as much since I am not constantly using them. I really only use them on RoB.

Hover the cursor over equipment piece and press "C" to get a pop-up with direct link. Or install Item Menu Script from [tiap.github.com] here, press the mouse wheel on the equipment piece and choose "Link".

To make a link to ANY url, just highlight the words you want to be the link in the full reply mode, then click the 'make link' button and put in the URL. To get the URL for your gear, press 'c' with your mouse hovered over it in HV and copy the URL from the box that appears.

Alternatively do (url=http://YOURURLHERE)TEXT OR PICTURE(/url) but replace the parentheses with square brackets.

Weaken is definitely 5AP worthy, imperil probably is too if you don't do enough damage against hard targets. If you're really short on AP don't bother with imperil though.

Quick question, is x-nerf worth 5AP?
