Believe me, they're gonna evade, parry and resist a lot from your level on. It's really annoying since sometime 1 hit means cleared or defeated. And post-200 is even worse... (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/cool.gif) Maybe the idea of bribing 10b isnt so bad after all.

The monsters will still have parry,resist and evade.

Post level 200, you will see monsters parry/evade 4-6 times in a row everyday. It's very frustrating.

I heard that some guys just cant seem to hit the "Big 5" and had to resort to skill to bring them down, probably just a myth but still that's how badass they are, right?

Poor Mantra, he's looking for that estoc for weeks and when he found it, he can't touch it. And i thought i could buy that estoc for 500k a few days ago.

You'll learn to hate every evade/parry. Especially when you're in spirit stance.

Since I don't have enough luck to get a better Estoc, I'm thinking about to switch over to DW instead.

Right now i'm ~ 147% acc, and i still get parried occasionally, sometimes twice or thrice in a row. I doubt that 3% more would make a big difference

Acc is only for evade, you could have 1000% acc and would still get parried.
Also, at you level you won't notice it a lot, it's after 200 when you actually get to fight the high PL's that parry starts to get annoying.

Since I don't have enough luck to get a better Estoc, I'm thing about to switch over to DW instead.

Speaking of hit chance, this is my avoidance/mitigation with starter shade set (thanks mirandakerr):

43.7% PMI
32.5% Evade
46.3% Parry

Effective avoidance 63.7% before SV. However, this is with an axe and dagger, so I can't stun XD I clear IWBTH hourlies with this, it works with or without weaken but obviously weaken is easier. Also tried it on IWBTH 10-round arena, regen 2 cuts it 90% of the time and SoL for nasty surprises. This is with sub-10 light armor prof and maybe 35 DW. Taking 0 damage 2 rounds in a row sure feels good.
If I use a rapier instead I clear faster but my evade drops to 29 because my rapier isn't ethereal. Also my parry drops to 33. I use less mana on buffs with this setup but I have to touch up my hp with cure, whereas regen 2 more or less does the job with the other one, so I think I actually use more mana with the rapier even though killing speed is faster.
I have 134.9% hit chance with shade set, and I don't get evaded ever after heartseeker. Granted I'm not 200 yet.

When I'm 2h/heavying I only get a measly 117% accuracy but its not been too much of a problem since I've figured out who to focus so I can domino on the tough guys. The positioning doesn't always work out but skills and heartseeker do wonders. However, even without frenzied blows I clear the small arenas much faster with DW+shade.

Ok now for the reason I posted that wall of text (sorry it took so long XD). Is that accuracy on my 2h set going to kick me in the ass? I've more or less ignored the accuracy stat when buying power of slaughter as it hasn't been a problem, but this might need to be remedied. I figure after heartseeker it'll be ok but I thought i'd check before I kick myself in the ass.

club, damage on that axe is not that great (point of axe is higher damage than club +bleed). Can use the axe for fsm/short arenas, but not really sure the bleed damage is significant enough to bother.

I don't play that much, so general boost > battle oriented boost (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/cool.gif)

Unless you can go up to 200% acc, don't bother (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
150% acc = 50% counter evade, but that means 50% of monster's current evade. You can never completely hit them 100% of the time without 200% acc (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
