i'll make a really newbie question.... wich is the best way to make credits?

In general? Level up. ALOT.

At your level? Go for a rank or two in Archaeologist and sell the artifacts.

Invest all credits you get into Scavenger LOD, Quartermaster and Archaeologist.
(Train always the cheapest one of them)

But you really need to level up first, before you'll be able to earn some real money.

For long endurance stuff like high level gear IW as a melee, does using heavy armor or light armor prove to keep you alive longer?

Ah so cloth armor it is, I know that light armor is considered the most worthless, but does Heavy Armor have any situation that it prove useful in?

Or can everything just be solved with cloth?

Tanks got nerfed hard, so you can't really use a lot of Heavy in things that are not Cake. Otherwise, its usually worn with awesome Light or evade Silk to provide some extra damage protection.

Thanks for everyone's help.

I have a question, what's the best way to level up? Doing lots of IW? Grindfests?

So far I pretty much do all the arenas that I can everyday, I can do some of the early ones on harder difficulties like Hell/Nightmare/Heroic and gradually decreasing the difficulty until normal, lol.

Yeah, the ROB monsters are tricky batards, you'll have to try it once to see their true power.

The correct answer, of course, is that it depends on what round you meet him in, but you would have to go a long way in a Superior item to find a boss that's tougher than normal. Meeting one in round 150+ of a Magnificent item is a different story though...

Yes, weaken, tier 3 in the boss, nerf, shot him to death, and pray for him to not kill you first.

Things to note:
Lifestream is listed as a deprecating spell, but it is based on forbidden proficiency.
The damage/health recovered is based on enemy health (397 from a normal enemy on Battletoads. 127 from a normal enemy on normal) and is irrespective of enemy barrier ratings. (i.e. nerf doesn't increase the damage/health recovery)

I notice the ratio's quite close to √10.

Lifestream is turn based right? so how many turns does it last for its cost?

Would the Hath perk Radiant Soul have any effect on Lifestream?

At your level isn't the amount of live you get from Ripened Soul about that much?

If you have MagNet, Soul Fire or Soul Burst what do you think of the spells for their cost?

It is.

QUOTE(4EverLost @ Aug 31 2010, 19:14) *

63 MP. 42 turns at 176.41 proficiency. (Assuming I'm doing the calculation correctly, that means the base duration is 15 turns)

QUOTE(4EverLost @ Aug 31 2010, 19:14) *

Would the Hath perk Radiant Soul have any effect on Lifestream?

I doubt it. Of course, the system doesn't tell me what type of damage it does. (Lifestream drains 397 points of health from Mithra.)

QUOTE(4EverLost @ Aug 31 2010, 19:14) *

Damn you and making me do retarded crap.
From bosses:
Ripened Soul- 259 health
Lifestream- 397 health (this seems like the max. I have no idea how it is calculated)

QUOTE(4EverLost @ Aug 31 2010, 19:14) *

If you have MagNet, Soul Fire or Soul Burst what do you think of the spells for their cost?

Magnet- 55 MP for 30 turns. (at 271.15 proficiency. So, a base duration of 4?) I'm not sure if it is any good.

Soul Fire- 45 MP
Soul Burst- 109 MP
I haven't tested the effect of the Soul Fire burn yet.

Thanks for the info,

I've always liked soul attacks but soul burst seems a bit high on MP unless its a one shot kill on battletoads or you cast a MM to get coalesced mana before its cast.

Lifestream does seem to be a nice spell if you melee.
