I'm not sure, but are you playing IW in normal difficulty already?

doing that crude cap on normal difficulty is going to take me years before it reaches a decent level.

while doing superior equipment on normal difficulty has become somewhat risky. nowadays i am doing level 200 superior equipment on easy.

Have you ever tried a heavy set with estoc?

Your probably doing something wrong then, seeing as how I could do exquisite on normal at lvl 200...

Are you putting too many buffs on yourself without channeling?

Might be due to your proficieny. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

Could you post a screenshot of it?

I just did a Superior Item on Hard yesterday. It wasn't easy but wasn't too tricky either. I still need to work out a new strategy to be able to do IW on Heroic I can almost manage it again.

@MidNightPass How did you manage to do Trio on IWBTH?? What was your tactic? And how much time did you spend to finish that round?

If you melee and have OFC the final round is very fast. if you don't its slower but all you need to do is hold down a number until everything is dead (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

The final round isn't the hard part, its just getting there without running out of potions for most people.

Light melee with ethereal mace.
Spells: haste, HS, SV, regen I/II, SS on IA2.
Pots (all godly ones): 7 mana and 6 spirit.

Yeah a couple of weeks ago when I had time for IW, I was doing fine stuff on nightmare no real problem, and a month before that, exquisite stuff on normal. Varst made it sound like at low 200~ level, we shouldn't be playing IW on normal.

There are tons of things that are 'supposed' to be done correctly, but people keep messing them up for various reasons. That's why I have to be the captain obvious and ask that again and again, just to make sure they haven't made incorrect choices.

i want to level my eth mace. did ithilid scythe last time +high block shield pieces, but w/o void it was a chore, and still got hit a lot, so gonna try it w/ eth longsword.

how should i focus my armor do ya think? have a lot of options to choose from, so generalizations are fine; ie mitigation first, power first, etc.

I thought it was well above your level, thanks to 4EverLost.

I'll use them if i feel like it, but i haven't been playing for long enough strectches to bother wasting my shards. Also want to still consider a working strategy first before relying on shards.

it was underleveled, before the power lvling. I've been lvling it since lvl 165 or so. W/ the last 2 patches though just wanted to see if someone found a good playing style for bleed.

i only do buff when channelling is in effect.

since SoL and SV are on IA, my first channelling is usually AF. second is regen 2. then SV...

i know the difficulty is IWBTH, haven't switched back after doing the hourly.

i am also aware about all these talk about ditching fox and going for EDB. but for me, EDB set is still a WIP...

Even if the EDB set is a work-in-progress, why don't you just wear the pieces that you already have and fill in the gaps with Fox pieces?

good idea... will go with a fox-heimdall-fenrir mash up and see how it goes...
