I somehow ended up writing this whole thing, which is longer than I thought... I might as well post it here for whoever cares to read it. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif) ..... I see some people use a script to generate a chart that look like this: However, take note that using this style of chart as a way to estimates how good the gear is has a tendency to mislead people to think their gear sucks even though that may not be the case. How? ... Well, most people will 'use' the chart by this process: look at certain 'useful' stats and compared, look at every stats and compares how much difference each stats of the gear are in percentage with that of chart (which the script will automatically show to you), unconsciously average all available/useful stats and compare the result to the 'maxed' stats, and finally, make a conclusion by infer how 'good' the gear is based on the difference. This could mislead people with an exquisite gear with, say, ~70% of the 'maxed' exquisite stats shows in the chart, to think "my exquisite have stats of just 3/4 of the 'good' exquisite, therefore my exquisite is kinda meh" ... This is false; if the overall stats of the exquisite are averaged at more than 80-90% of the chart's number, then it wouldn't be 'exquisite' anymore, it would get bumped to magni or legendary instead, with even more stats. That's why most of the Legendary drop has most, if not all of its stat, to be very close to the maxed value on the legendary scale; the very reason why it's a legendary is because it has very high stats on average from the start, otherwise it won't be 'legendary' drop. Got to love disillusionment of equipment drops. Legendaries are pretty good in their own right, but are not usually what people would use normally. Players want to have high expectations of the items they get. Otherwise, they usually end up in the Bazaar.

All of the useful Legendary I've seen so far have amazing stats. The problem is that not all Legendary drops are the useful kind; in fact, most of them are not the useful kind...

That's why I would like something which just shows the max base on superior level. And stat better than that is good enough to beat 99% of the total equips.

The only way i know of is to calculate it yourself, assuming the equation on the wiki is correct

I don't find any particular problem in your build if you start at normal difficulty. And at normal difficulty you shouldn't require any particular strategy....what's the major problem that your facing? Insufficient MP/SP? Unable to kill trio? Or any other problems? The first 99 rounds should be routine. At round 100 you should probably cast one weaken and imperil on trio and tree, then start spamming AOE fire on tree. Then rotate among cold/wind/elec AOE spells on trio with specific weakness. Shouldn't be that hard... If you still can't finish that, you should probably use a full suit of EDB phases of a single element. Fire/cold/wind/elec are cheaper but less powerful, while holy/dark are more expanisve but has great power output.

How does the ability x-item and x-attack work? I mean the description confuses me because it says "our skills at using items are boosted, decreasing usage time by 25%" so our health pot/any kind of pot only stays recovering hp/etc for 7.5/8 turns instead of 10 turns? Isn't that worse? How is that beneficial in anyway or am I misunderstanding something here? I don't understand x-attack either, each attack takes 1 turn so how do you have 25% less of a turn to have .75 of a turn...

haven't tried trios yet... just wanted to gather as much intel as possible before attempting it...
last time, i remember reading something about Yggdrasil healing the other 3 when it dies, while the other 3 will cast different buffs on the rest when they die.
anyone remember where is it? i don't think it is in the wiki...

x-item and x-attack increases your action speed... http://ehwiki.org/wiki/Action_Speed

If you're playing on Normal, don't bother. They all die within 2-3 spells. Edit: If you're Mage, kill Yggdrasil first to remove the shield that it casts on the others. Good to know you haven't tried that yet. It's almost impossible to lose against trio on normal difficulty... And yeah, Yggdrasil's skill is healing Trio, so you should kill it first http://ehwiki.org/wiki/HentaiVerse_Bestiary

Thanks for the info on x-item/x-attack, they seem to be useful after all o.o
What level is preferable to do the ring of bloods? If I fight them, which boss(es) do I fight? And at what difficulty?
As a sample size to my strength atm, I'm lvl 80, can clear most lower level(lvl1-8) arenas on iwbth/battle toads, the mid-tier(lvl 10-40) arenas on nintendo/hell/nightmare, and the higher level arenas(lvl 50/60/70/80) on normal(with ease)/hard because I don't want to spend lots of effort and time going through 20-40 rounds of higher difficulty for each arena when I can 1 hit them on normal/hard and only have to pot every 10 rounds and finish it fast. Even if I took the time and effort though, I can probably only do heroic(maybe nightmare) at most on the higher level arenas anyways imo.
And I should add that I'm using up most or all of my pots(8 slots) for higher difficulty (mid-tier) arenas, only time I don't use up all my pots are when I'm on normal/hard/sometimes heroic mode. Using a 2h scythe with bleed with all heavy armor.

At what level should I be starting to play in IWBTH. Because I'm only able to make it to round 9 or so in IWBTH.
