QUOTE(Tiap @ May 25 2012, 16:14) Has anyone played around with Fox staffs since the last patch? I have an Exquisite Fox that yields almost the same score as an Exquisite Destruction (with a difference of about ~100 points)
ya, it still sucks but is a little better then the last patch. Even going with 850-900 INT + Legendary Focus staff or Destruction. I wasn't happy with it on normal/hard/BT

QUOTE(MidNightPass @ May 25 2012, 10:43) But mace has been nerfed again (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/anime_cry.gif) In that case, I don't know what you're complaining about. "The new spell for melee non-PA lol? Just like imperil for mages." That's would be called "Imperil." It works exactly the same. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/ph34r.gif) Tenboro has an uncanny track record of nerfing any and all OP functionality 1 week after I've started using it. 100% legendary arena trophy drop; changed to 10%. Absorption invulnerability on low difficulties; removed. Mace perma-stun; removed. Fully leveled up ultra-staff; mage nerf 3x. Forged eth scythe; SS, bleed nerfed. Forged estoc; ???????? The list will go on.

QUOTE(buktore @ May 26 2012, 00:03) At first, that's what I thought too. But then I realized after playing for a while that it would be more accurate to think that (almost) everything else got better, while club and mace remains the same. Just be happy that you're not a scythe user. That shit stinks so bad right now... (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/ph34r.gif) But heavy users have the estoc back.

Longsword is not bad in the last patch; it's like scythe, just a little shittier. Shortsword at least has its theoretical use. Niten has no use whatsoever...

Yes, Fox to Destruction is same as what Ox is to Slaughter. Fox Katalox is nice alternative for those who cant afford Destruction Katalox but want damage boost, but, in term of raw damage, it simply cant beat it. In my experience using Fox and Destruction breaks down to this: more mana but lower damage (Fox) or more firepower (Destruction)? Mages can have redundant mana but can never have enough firepower

wasn't there also a change to lifetap and even soul bursts damage soon after you were using that for schoolgirls? you forgot to list all the credit nerfs after you gain hath perks and the bazaar prices.

If you compare raw power, then fox still can't be compared with destruction. Just calculated that.

You mean lifestream right when it was added? Drained 10% of monster HP per turn? Well that was a bug, so I didn't count it. It was fun to drain xxxxxx health per turn in the short time it lasted though. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) And yeah, I forgot about soul burst. Collect massive INT fox phase set; increase legendary soul resistance. At least he has laid off the credit nerfs for awhile and made the bazaar have decent and stable equipment pricing. Still waiting for training additions to mess up my pretty, completed training page. QUOTE(buktore @ May 25 2012, 11:32) You got one of these? (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/huh.gif) ... Is it fine if I borrow it for a bit? (not now though) (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/blush.gif) Nope, and I won't. Unless you want it nerfed too.

Probably more like 200 now that some worthless bloat has been removed and AB cost has been seriously nerfed (according to Sonic calc. I've been at 115 since before HV existed, so I can't verify that myself.) This post has been edited by hitokiri84: May 25 2012, 19:46

Assuming AB equals Ability Boost, then yes, it has been seriously nerfed. It's probably cost me around 500k to get it from 30ish to 83, and it is costing me around 55k a level now. A question about Level 300 arena, A Dance with Dragons: About how much HP does all three of the dragons have on Normal?

QUOTE(Razorflame @ May 25 2012, 12:53) A question about Level 300 arena, A Dance with Dragons:
About how much HP does all three of the dragons have on Normal? That is dependent on level. If you want relative HP, two of them have about 20% more than the 3 stronger legendary girls and are only weak to Cold, and the third has approximately double their HP and is only weak to holy. They can all also resist spells quite heavily, so MagNet is pretty much required for all depreciating or offensive spells. If you want exact numbers, maybe skillchip knows an equation. Otherwise go look at how much HP legendaries have at your level.

Wow...by the Legendary Girls, I'm assuming you mean the Trio and the Tree, and the Trio has ~110-118k HP on normal, or around there, so the two dragons would have ~150k HP and the third one would have ~300k HP. Would Imperil also be useful against them?

like he said magnet is a must, then it doesn't matter for normal. weaken, nerf, imperil... just cast what you want they aren't that hard to kill. holy spells vs 1 then cold vs the 2nd or melee them.

Legendary girls = Konata + Mikuru/Ryouko/Yuki
It's odd that we have three girls from Haruhi as Legendaries but not Haruhi herself as a God, now that I think about it.

For me, it'll cost me another 185,409,143C to max out every training.
