Yep, Normal. I probably could've done Hard if I really wanted to with the same method, it would just take longer. Only one mana potion used.

Yup, also notice that there's a 100 level gap.

That only possible by using a 'stimulant' type consumable, i.e. Vase, Gum, Soulstone, or a combination of them.
The highest I was able to pull off without using pillz was about ~2M dmg I believe... (@ lv.280)
104 18 Frenzied Blows hits Flying Spaghetti Monster for 114661 holy damage. 104 17 Frenzied Blows hits Flying Spaghetti Monster for 133225 holy damage. 104 16 Frenzied Blows hits Flying Spaghetti Monster for 91729 holy damage. 104 15 Frenzied Blows hits Flying Spaghetti Monster for 134317 holy damage. 104 14 Frenzied Blows hits Flying Spaghetti Monster for 92821 holy damage. 104 13 Frenzied Blows hits Flying Spaghetti Monster for 112477 holy damage. 104 12 Frenzied Blows hits Flying Spaghetti Monster for 96097 holy damage. 104 11 Frenzied Blows hits Flying Spaghetti Monster for 121213 holy damage. 104 10 Frenzied Blows hits Flying Spaghetti Monster for 133225 holy damage. 104 9 Frenzied Blows hits Flying Spaghetti Monster for 145237 holy damage. 104 8 Frenzied Blows hits Flying Spaghetti Monster for 115753 holy damage. 104 7 Frenzied Blows hits Flying Spaghetti Monster for 140869 holy damage. 104 6 Frenzied Blows hits Flying Spaghetti Monster for 104833 holy damage. 104 5 Frenzied Blows hits Flying Spaghetti Monster for 93913 holy damage. 104 4 Frenzied Blows hits Flying Spaghetti Monster for 126673 holy damage. 104 3 Frenzied Blows hits Flying Spaghetti Monster for 122305 holy damage. 104 2 Frenzied Blows hits Flying Spaghetti Monster for 124489 holy damage. 104 1 You use Frenzied Blows.

Sounds about right. Going by my calculations, I should be able to do at least 1.3M damage to FSM if infusions worked how they used to work.

I'm curious, how do you calculate that? (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/huh.gif) ... I still have no idea where the skill dmg came from, so... BTW.. My comment about the request for new infusion mechanic: QUOTE(buktore @ Mar 2 2012, 04:13) Do not want

Thing are not the same as before the patch though. Aside from the fact that infusion doesn't work now, pretty much everything else got buff since then.

Have I mentioned this was calculated using my set of void daggers and testing with PA? I don't have any other void weapons, and since infusion override damage type anymore, no clubs in MH for me.

Any general advice on how to beat Arena Lv. 220 (those "mini bosses" with the red background gives me a headache from round 50 and onward)? I'm a 2H light melee warrior.

Use DW with Frenzied Blows (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) Or an ethereal estoc I guess. Or if your equip is really good. I've only tried it with DW so far and its been no problem, I'm getting faster at it and using less mana too. Haven't tried 2H really but it should be harder and slower from what people say and what I think. I see no reason to use 2H for 220+, since I need to keep my DW prof up anyways. Any they aren't mini bosses, those are the legendaries, aka schoolgirls.

What's your weapon?
You will have a problem with those boss if you don't have eth, there's nothing much that you could do about it.
For a quick fix, try look around and buy a cheap eth estoc in WTS forum. Any suffix will do.
PS. @Kaosumx: I can give you 1 of my lowly eth club for free if you want...

For starter, have you considered using Protection Heavy? The mitigation can help alot. Use either Mace or Estoc, both ethereal of course, for faster clearing speed. If 2Hand Prof is too low, then eth Club + Rapier (dont mater ethereal or not) can make short work, use Frenzy Blows on Schoolgirls

Is it worth maxing out Assimilator training as early as possible?
Based on the excellent results granted by even the mere two levels of Assimilator I have trained, I'm very tempted to try to max it out before bothering with further essential training in Ability Boost, Scavenger, LotD, and Archaeologist.

You have 4.4 million credits lying around? You're right that you get a great result for a couple levels, but once you're paying nearly a quarter-million credits for that fourth level there are simply better uses of that amount of credit. Particularly since levels in Scavenger help you get more credits.

Not worth the cost. If you are even a half-dedicated melee/mage, then by now your prof should have been at least 50% of your level. The main tip is IW Crude, you can easily grind more than 3 points of prof for every trip there. Assilimator is for those level 300 rich players who want to change weapon style but dont have time for grinding

Getting the first 5 levels is relatively cheap (less than a million) and can bring lots of benefits.
