Heaven-sent increases holy prof, while Heimdall increases holy damage. To be technical, when your prof is very low, wearing Heaven-sent actually improves your holy damage more than Heimdall does.

If you use Heaven-Sent you will get about 40% of what you get from Heimdall, but it is much cheaper like they said. If your prof isn't maxed you can mix the two and get more damage then pure Heimdall, but as it gets closer to max Heimdall gets further ahead.
