of course that's possible; I've wondered myself. Like i said though, this was me scouring the bazaar, noting values to report for the ranges thread.
I never again saw values approaching the highs of those first few days, so accept the 25.x as max. It's just a curiosity; you never know, someone who doesn't frequent the forums might just have kept such a staff and will one day drop it in the bazaar for us to admire.

Just starting to get used to appraising equipment... These gloves I droppedAre they a good piece?Because I guess that by that level, a good mage can really use the +21 Forbidden prof bonus to farm the schoolgirls... This post has been edited by Zoro the Gallade: May 11 2012, 01:20

MAB and PB are quite decent, and mitigations are high enough.

Although I question the "farming" schoolgirls part. You can't really farm schoolgirls until you unlock the schoolgirl arenas, and you don't even unlock a dark spell until lvl 150 anyways.

The stats are good, though fenrir is still a much better choice for dark mages.

What are the disadvantages to using a weapon or armor with a higher level?

Higher burden and interference since those stats don't scale down.

And is it bad to have a high burden and interference? All of my armor and my weapon are in levels around 230-290, and I'm only level 142. Is it bad?

It's negligible. The benefits of using higher level equipment outweight using lower lvl equipment.

I got a problem where a 1 level difference from lvl 66 to lvl 67 causes normal to feel like hard.(yes it is on normal i checked right after) Apathetic Canuck used to only deal around 450 cold damage tops but after the level up it deals double that damage(942). Doesn't make sense to me considering my equipments haven't changed between the level, unless i'm mistaken on the damage potential of uncommon foes.

I'll go ahead and ask the obvious: are you sure that the latter wasn't a critical hit?

There is a random attack damage multiplier: see the physical/magical attack damage on your character screen? What you dont see, however, is that there is also undisplayed min/max attack damage value in between. The displayed attack damage only means, on average of near-infinity on-hits, your attack damage will deal that number, while there are some hits in which you deal less than 0.5 of your damage and other hits deal more than 1.5 of non-critical damage. Well, guess what? Monster also got that random attack damage multiplier, too, you are just unlucky to receive a high multiplier roll. Not unusual and certainly not a bug

It won't exactly help a lot. QUOTE Luck of the Draw Increases your loot quality bonus by 1%. But for the amount it costs you right now, it's worth it. Same goes for your Quartermaster training. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif)

QUOTE(ShatteredWings @ May 11 2012, 17:17) Here are some of my stats, let me know if there is something to change so I can improve on the game. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) [ s1249.photobucket.com] http://s1249.photobucket.com/albums/hh512/...t=Capture1.png[ s1249.photobucket.com] http://s1249.photobucket.com/albums/hh512/...t=Capture2.png1. Balance a bit around your stats. Take more DEX as it helps your accuracy and parry. If you're using mace, take more AGI because acting too slow isn't a good thing (your proc will easily expire) 2. Profs. Train your depreciating and supportive profs. It's okay to be around 50-75% of your level, but 0% is just unbearable. It also mean you haven't utilized useful supportive spells (like haste, shadow veil, protection, spark) and depreciating spells (poison, weaken, silence) during battles. Try to use those spells in appropriate situations. It surely helps survival. 3. Training. Not sure if you need more AP with ability boost now, as I can't see your ability page. If you want to spend less time on prof., train 2-3 levels of assimilator. Also, try to balance the credits requirement on those 4 drop trainings (which means train more LotD and Quartermaster till the cost is about the same with scavenger and archaeologist)) It's better if you also provide equip links and screen-cap of ability page.

For the last row that didn't show up I only have experience bonus, health tank, and magic tank. the rest I have not purchased yet. And as for the links for my equipment, I don't know how to make links for them.
