QUOTE(ShatteredWings @ May 10 2012, 06:25) So should I try another weapon?
all 2 HD weapons will do the same Domino Strike But each has a different damage type What you should look at is the secondary effect your attack will have. Mace - stun sword/scythe - bleed Estoc - pierce Right now Estoc seem to be doing the most damage, but if you want to use that you'll need a way to take the hits since monsters won't be stunned.

What is a good and fast way to level light armor? So far I have just been doing Crysfest with full kevlar of protection and a staff on easy.

As a holy/dark mage would it be easier to fight Invisible Pink Unicorn than Real Life because it's weak to dark, or does the difference in power make up for it?

Hi relatively new to hentaiverse here, just a few questions for the more experienced people here.
Been trying to level as fast as possible for a month or so now, basically playing every hourly random encounter possible and first 11 levels of arenas on IWBTH and 2 highest level of arena on normal to reduce my stamina close to 80 before going to bed, is this the best/fastest way to level?
using a melee build with plate and 1h/shield at the moment, would going for caster build or light armor build be a better alternative?
Thanks in advance!

If you have a EDB phase set, use dark infusion to increase the damage output even more. QUOTE(terence323 @ May 10 2012, 04:08) Hi relatively new to hentaiverse here, just a few questions for the more experienced people here.

AP into EXP tanks and training into Adept Learner will help with leveling fast. It doesn't really matter what style you use. This post has been edited by trikon000: May 10 2012, 11:15

Nah, the easier way is utilizing flimsy/crude IW at easy difficulty. Fight till he get 8-9 monsters per round, then start spamming non-offensive and low mana-cost spells. High-difficulty IW is for weapons, not armors.

That is actually exactly what I have been doing. I did it on crysfest instead because I wanted to keep my stamina over 80. I would weaken and ether theft every monster until they would just die from one hit. Then I would cast weaken until I got under 400mp and then kill the all the mobs off and start all over again on a fresh set of mobs. I just want to know if there is a better way to get into a situation with 7+ monsters where I would be able to survive with light armor with just regen2 and maybe shadow veil. I have found relatively easy ways to do it with cloth and heavy armors, but light armor is such a bitch to do it for. Although I think it will be easier once I finish out my shade of negation set for the no burden and low interference for better evasion and lower mp cost.

Do that in crude/flimsy IW instead of crysfest. There's a multiplier in IW which depends on the IW equip's quality. And since flimsy/crude IW has the lowest quality, attacks from monsters should only deal 30-40% the damage you receive from crysfest.

Assimilator (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/cool2.gif) It actually has a really noticeable effect, I was surprised. My profs are shooting up every since I got 2 levels in it.

Is flimsy the worst quality? crude is pretty common to see but I think I have never seen a flimsy before.

try putting on a full suit of kevlar of protection and cast protection spell. i did that and used two high parry daggers/rapiers. high parry dagger/rapier + shield would work just as well.

QUOTE(Kaosumx @ May 9 2012, 22:58) I still maintain I once sold a redwood one with 40% conservation.
on that patch day (w/ mana conservation introduction) i glanced at some of the new focus staves in bazaar, and saw a 34% (which i mentioned in ranges thread) but didn't link to it either, cuz y'know wait a couple days and note what i see before posting every focus staff i encounter as a max/min. I regret that too. Methinks the value range must have been tweaked somewhat after the first few days.

I mean no offence, but for you guys who said they once saw/acquired a very high mana conservation staffs, did you ever considered the possibility that you might have mistaken the number? (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/huh.gif) ... This shit happens, ya know. Right now, the story of such staffs is almost feels like those of UFO sighting story if you ask me... So I'm a bit skeptical.

I have to agree with buktore, I haven't seen anything personally drop higher than 25%.

I can fairly confirm that I've seen ~30, can't be 100% sure though. But surely not more than that.

I think the value has been tweaked too. It wasn't that hard to find staffs with more than 25% conservation right when it came out, but now, its hard. To do even that.
