I've seen people (not lv.300 guys. NORMAL players) doing EOD with estoc, mace and scythe before the patch, so there shouldn't be any real problem unless you have shitty equips.

EOD with 2h seems to more luck than anything.
One run on normal ended up with no problems, just taking way longer than with DW. Another run ended up with me running out of spirit and dying to a schoolgirl on round 98. (556 spirit + 1 godly spirit pot)

I want to learn some mass attack magic spell
what kind of spell fits best when battling in the Grindfest (upto more than 10 monsters when reach stage 2X...

Quite hard to keep on the battle when being out-number by monsters...

I haven't learn any attack spell, because I don't know where to start from.

Some people say, I don't need to waste AP to learn attack spell as I am a two-hand weapon light armor battler. Is this really true?

At your level, it is more efficient going melee than magic when grinding, because you last much longer and mana isnt as huge issue as for mage. Also, offensive spells aint recommended if you are wearing non-cloth armors, as both damage and mana cost will be more handicap than advantage.

But if you want to try out as mage, then you will need a Focus staff (to conserve mana cost) and good Gossamer/Phase set (dont use cloth, they dont have good bonus over Gossamer). Also, train your magic prof up. Just be aware that both survival and mana cost are the primary problems with mage (you dont have to worry about survival after you get: Spirit Shield/Spark of Life)

Good AoE spells are Wind/Elec and Light/Dark (but you cant do Dark until 150). Another less popular but more utilized is full Elemental build: Wind/Elec/Fire/Ice (relies on explosion to clear monsters)

Is there a recommended level to start switching to holy/dark magic over elemental?

Almost lvl 150 and a bit hesitant about it since I've got a nice set of Surtr equipment.

There is no "recommended" level for start the switch, you can do it as soon as you hit 150.

The Fire element isnt popular, because the most popular monsters, especially Mechanoid, Elemental, and Dragonkin, aint weak to fire and quite a few are resistant.

Holy/Dark are popular because very few monsters are resistant to both light/dark (only Mechanoid give headache, as it is resistant to light and no weakness to dark)

Well that's true, but with a few SP potions that should be doable. You don't need that much MP against normal EOD anyway.

Use mace at lower level for better protection. Estoc can be quite efficient in killing enemies, but the downside is that it isn't that protective. Without spark or SP shield you may risk unnecessary death. Also, at lower level PA may not be that efficient as monsters have lower physical mitigation.

Just keep a balanced stat. After this patch I don't think there's a real need to allocate more on particular stat, as stat from equips seems to dominate...

just did a ability reset to clean up some wasted points, and ended up with a lot more back than expected. should i still max silence? i have max weaken and imperil. 105 deprecating, so i won't be landing more than 2 spells on anything i fight. which duo of deprecating spells would be better to cast on bosses/gods/etc.
