QUOTE(putadshere @ May 9 2012, 12:33) The reason I was thinking of releasing a new aura is that I'm fairly sure that by releasing I or V, I'll get a new , 7% gain to exp, while I would not get the same by upgrading one of my existing ones.
Am I right?
Yes, the bonus applies to the first aura rank only. A long time ago EXP bonus are useful, but now EXP is so easily available that there's no urgency to get them before you fill up other auras. This post has been edited by varst: May 9 2012, 06:40

Yes, you wont gain more exp bonus with upgrade, so you can release the other two (If you dont plan to mage anytime soon, you can leave them at level 1 until you upgraded the others). Aura's effects actually play less and less role as you gain better equipment and survive longer

Nowadays I'm finding Power armor more and more effective than the Shade armor I have now. Should I sell my Shade equipment and replace it all with Power?

You may find shades useful when you level up, or whenever new patches change things.

You seen the Plate of the Turtles? Before the patch, those were bazaar baits, but this patch made them godly, surpassing Plate of Protection in both health boost and overall mitigation Keep Shade for now, someday Tenb might buff Light Armor again.

boo on that, Turtle plate was never bazaar bait. It was always something to mess with when you don't have anything better to do. But its always a good idea to keep the best of any type of item.

I have a fairly nice Turtle suit. I don't have an Ox suit, though.

I'm still waiting for the day that my Hulk gear is of use. It would be fun to see the stats on my Turtle gear after 100 turtle binding.

QUOTE(Evil Scorpio @ May 9 2012, 06:53) But jokes aside. I assume this thing can be useful now? (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/huh.gif) After it gains 120 it would be of use. But for a Magnificent its only the END that is high. Would it be worth losing 10 str for 10 end? This post has been edited by 4EverLost: May 9 2012, 09:06

QUOTE(putadshere @ May 9 2012, 13:02) Any thoughts on whether its now better to go DW over 2H? It's better to use both: DW: Ring of Blood, Schoolgirl Maraphons (arenas after "The Trio and the Tree") 2H: Standart Arenas (First Blood -> The Trio and the Tree), IWs, Grindfest, Crysfest

QUOTE(putadshere @ May 9 2012, 06:32)
Character is a 2h melee, with all power armor and a mace.
Should I spend my aura point to upgrade G or B? Or is it better to train another level of refined aura(Currently at 2/4) so that I can release the I or V aura?
Indigo is useless for melee, but violet is not. When fighting bosses, you have to debuff them, and missing silence and getting 1-shotted can convince anyone magic hit has its uses. Especially this patch, after curse weaving drastically lowered chance of landing consecutive debuffs. Now, V aura alone will not make you Merlin, but considering how low melee int is supposed to be, I'd say at least 1 point might be wise. By the time you start raiding FSM, I'd consider even more points.

At my level, is 45 Curative, 12 Deprecating and 20 Supporting proficiency too low?

Not "deadly" low, but you should start grinding them though. Remember that having those profs higher will make corresponding spells last longer.
