Elaborate. I can only presume that you mean characters with low speed get less bang for their buck when you compare the buff benefit to mana consumption.

Partly, but there's not really a huge speed difference between the playstyles these days. Its more of your weapon. If you play heavy armor with high bleed scythe, then you want the bleed to proc on the monsters do higher speed doesn't necessarily help you in that case.

Is the voidseeker droprate on hard and higher like that of artifacts or something? I've done at least 30-50 100 round runs on hard and gotten no voidseekers yet.

easier than artifact but definitely not as easy as featherweight.
dunno if someone already tried to count the drop rate from battle.

Between those, what should be better to be full Sharded and play in x4/x5 difficult arenas and superior/exquisite IW?

Quick question. When shrining an artifact you get a chance to obtain Hath, Energy drinks, Ability points, crystals or 1 extra stat point up to a maximum of 20 per attribute. The result is random. Here goes my question, what happens when you already have maxed to 20 all the 6 attributes? Do you still get attribute points when shrining objects yet you dont really get it because its already maxed to 20 or the chance to get an attribute point is removed of the equation and you get only EDrinks, haths, crystals and ability points?

Anyone has the answer to that?

When you use a voidseeker, the AAB basically becomes 100%, so the one with the most damage becomes the most valueable. When you are looking for long runs on normal, the Illithid becomes the better one.

3 Questions:
Now that the Ability tree resistance points for elec, holy, etc don't increase your spell damage bonus anymore what does increase elemental/holy/etc damage % on the ability tree? For example when I put points into only Condemn and Purge does that increase my Holy SDB % for every point I put in?

When I use Soul Magic does it increase my Spiritual Proficency?

Finally is it possible for a level 180 mage to beat FSM on IWBTH? I have good elemental and divine prof and my forbidden and spiritual is decent but not high. I find it hard to imagine how to survive 1000+ rounds of fighting without running out of spirit for my Spark of Life. I have 13 Battle Item slots, 4 scroll slots, and 1 infusion slot. Any strategies on conserving spirit so I don't die midway? Should I use Soul Magic to replenish Spirit?

I have a not bad set of Spirit Cloth armor below but I'm conflicted as to whether I should wear Spirit Ward or my Divine Prof Holy Mage set (I have no Heimdall armor).

Adding up all the numbers for the whole set makes my Dark mitigation 105.96% does that mean FSM's normal attacks won't even do any damage??

Nothing. You'll need EDB Phase for that .

No, Spiritual is simply the average of Divine and Forbidden.

I guess it is with some preparation, but I don't see the point.
99 times out of 100 you won't get anything good out of it, and doing it without Spirit Shield just complicates everything.
I'd wait to get a decent Heimdall set if I were you.

They're added multiplicatively, so you would get 1-(1-0.2102)*(1-0.2534)*(1-0.2073)*(1-0.2231)*(1-0.1697) = 0.69 = 69% dark mitigation.
It would still rape you with physical attacks though.

Question about damage dealt to monsters on each hit: when playing as a mage, my base magic damage is about ~1000, and I can deal average 5-10k holy damage on each monster hit by Banish, seems to fit the formula found at http://ehwiki.org/wiki/Spell_Damage
But when playing as a melee, my base physical damage is about ~2500, yet I can only hit monsters for average ~1-2.5k damage each hit, even with void weapon. Is there a formula for this, or any reason why the actual damage dealt is even lower than the base?

@tiap I think he'd be ok from physical hits since I believe FSM deals dark damage with every hit http://ehwiki.org/wiki/HentaiVerse_Bestiary#Gods

main thing to watch out for is that soul damage from the spirit attack and crits will probably still hurt since FSM can easily lap most players

@lang physical mitigation. magic benefits from multiplicative bonuses to the point where they can do high damage despite the magic mitigation of monsters. melee does not get that same benefit.

Void removes specific physical mitigation.
Infusion changes specific magical mitigation.
PA reduces general physical mitigation.

Well I had been thinking of void as something far superior than normal attacks (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif) Since I started using it I realized that it's not that godlike, but still preferable.
