Basically, the way equipment and sets are set up doesn't allow weapons to be shared. Shields used to be included in that, but that got fixed a few patches ago. One of these days, Tenboro might get around to rewriting the code to allow weapons to be shared.

weren't we comparing mace to scythe (both illithids?) in which case i doubt the maces will be higher damage (nor by a lot if it is higher)

Mace indeed have higher damage, though scythe gives extra bleeding damage. This part is difficult so simulate, as too many factors are involved. Probably a play-test problem to see have much time mace gets 50% damage, and how many turns can bleeding actually ticks.

I'll give my Scythe a shot and try out my non eth mace too, to try to grab a comparison.

Keeping equipment at my level is definitely one of my downfalls as I rarely go to IW and prefer to find my own equips, but I suppose I'll have try harder to keep things level form now on (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

How much is Fine Phase Gloves of Heimdall worth?

Anyone? I don't really bother with mage stuff, I can get a feel for how much most of the elemental and fox/owl stuff is worth, but I've never bothered with knowing how much fenrir/heimdall staffs and phase are worth.

Just looking at the shops though, it seems that it would be worth 350k+

It is probably lower than what is in the WTS, but most phase will still be costly due to the drop rate. You can use it or sell it for a decent amount. just compare it to what is listed in the equipment ranges.

I noticed that when I use max level Haste in the beginning of a battle, I get Channeling.
Is this supposed to happen? If so, are there more "combinations" like this?

"Combinations" don't exist.

It is probably lower than what is in the WTS, but most phase will still be costly due to the drop rate. You can use it or sell it for a decent amount. just compare it to what is listed in the equipment ranges.

K, I'll probably hang on to it for now, see if I can lvl it up a few levels, and put it up for auction once I think I have enough good stuff to auction.

Channeling is just a proc that occurs after a spell is cast, the spell doesn't have to be offensive for channeling to occur.

press c with your mouse hovered over your item and copy the link in the popup window. Or use Equipment Shop Helper if there's alot of items. Note that you have to go to the back of the thread because the main post hasn't been updated and the version linked there doesn't work with the current patch.

That's just chance, just like how I can miss 15 times in a row with 97 percent accuracy.

it's possible for 100% channeling iirc. you just have to have ridiculously low base mana for your level

It is random, it is that you are on a luck streak of getting it to proc that often. Trust me, that you believe that it is unnatural that you get it that often, wait until you get to the point where you will never get it, then you will be pinning for that to happen again.
