Meh...I always think I was one of those few 'pure' mages who primarily use spells.
Trying to train melee prof. so I can test something on those skills.

My 2H prof is 218 already (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)

my action speed = 179

I get hit about 800-1500 per mon
my HP = 6500 so when 5+mon or 3-4 mon + crit => 1TQ

Is your agi around 70% of your level?

If speed is the problem that cant be fixed, then you try cast SP Shield first to survive the first gang-rape, then cast Haste and Spark/SS/X-Nerf

I have been meleeing IWTBH hourlies since level 150+ with a mace, and I have never lost due to SoL. The most I needed was up to 3 SoL's. Ever since level 190 with spirit shield, I have only triggered SoL once so far. It's not as hard as you think, as a melee anyway.

My current speed is 171. I can cast 3-4 spells before they react.

Why would i go against ? I got the best melee weapon 2 weeks before the patch and now i feel like god.

Edit : Forgot to say it's useless to ask tenboro to balance mages now he will do it when he feels like to do it.

Neither staff has direct effect on holy spells. The willow one seems better if you're going dark.

Yeah, I think you're right... It seems to take me a few more hits to finish a round on IWBTH with the ebony than with the willow. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sleep.gif)

Find a katalox staff. I don't think either of them is good enough to substitute a katalox staff of destruction/fenrir/heimdall.
You may need a MDB 37 ebony to simulate a good katalox.

mace, the scythe base bleed is kinda low
