I accidentally sold my flimsy item quite a while ago without realizing. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/mellow.gif) I think it was a Flimsy Iron Mace of the Battlecaster.

QUOTE(wrinty @ Mar 20 2012, 06:50) I just used up all the trophies I saved up (about 30) and got nothing useful at all. I kept a bunch of random maces and clubs because I heard somewhere that when equipment drops, it checks what type of equipment you have in your inventory and raises the chance of the type of equipment you have most of.
I was kidding about that! Though it certainly feels like the system enjoys giving you what you need least, it's just a perceived thing... ... ... I hope. QUOTE(wrinty @ Mar 20 2012, 06:50) I wonder if I'll ever get to see another Ethereal drop again. Also, I noticed something. Are Scythes more rare than Maces? Someone gave me a free scythe and it would sell for 2k+ at Bazaar, way more than the other 2Hs,not to mention that the 30 trophies I used up on 2H weapons didn't generate a single Scythe.
Scythes are rarer, AFAIK. Good Scythes are even rarer.

Don't full poison. And you should wait until you have silence, it'll be much, much easier.
But if you *really* want to try FSM, I suggest you find 2 25% stun club, with the MH one being ethereal. It'll be FSM lolmode from then on. Of course, he'll sneak in a hit every now and then, but everything should be fine and dandy if you keep him weakened+bewildered+poisoned.
You should max Bewilder, poison and Spark of Life before even thinking about trying.

Well, if you just want the clear bonus, I think you'll be fine. Depends on how many items you can bring into the RoB. Make sure you bring at least 1 spirit pot, for spark. Also, if you can, bring scroll of the gods or scroll of life, for the reduced spirit usage. The rest should be mana pots, you'll need loads of them, probably. I can't really estimate how much chance you got, unfortunately. I usually just lolmode FSM with DW club 42% stun + light armor for high speed. Boring as hell, though.

Wait till lv.110 when you have silence. That's the spell you really need against gods; not bewilder, not weaken. The easiest way is to find a full set of migiation HEAVY armor (not light armor). You can either DW or 2-handed or 1-handed, as long as your MH has great power output. Then use appropriate infusion. Ethereal is only needed against RL; against FSM and IPU it's better to use high ADB weapons with infusions. (Well you may beat FSM at lv.100, but it's better to take a safe route, since you're wasting your items if you fail) This post has been edited by varst: Mar 20 2012, 15:07

QUOTE(aiwotorimodose @ Mar 20 2012, 01:25) I'd lean toward no, the non-burden extra is less worthy than the loss in potential damage.
QUOTE((Cheater) Tiap @ Mar 20 2012, 03:13) You won't need Focus after 130, and the EDB of the other one is not stellar enough to warrant wasting time in IW (5.88 base, max is ≥7.39) Besides, you can still get a pretty good evade with a non-Ethereal staff
Thanks for the advice. Maybe I should sell it off then...Any takers? Just PM me, if you're interested. [L65] Fine Ethereal Katalox Staff of Focus [L65] Fine Ethereal Katalox Staff of HeimdallThis post has been edited by HDMI009: Mar 20 2012, 15:24

Hrm..I'm only level 100 atm. Would it be worth it to buy some equipment that are levels way beyond me?

Yes. But remember to pick worthy equipments, so as to not having to replace them in 20 levels. Unless you're going to be maging, then gossamers, especially old ones, should be replaced ASAP.

Also, I've been wondering for awhile, when armor says +13.31 Electrical Damage Bonus, does it mean flat +13.31? or +13.31%?

pick a good armor but don't spent a lot of credits until you really consider about your future play style can you link the equip? QUOTE(Naughty Boy @ Mar 20 2012, 23:39) oooh, interesting

That's elemental mitigation, not elemental damage boost, so no.
