I was wondering what that "lock" thing next to equipment means.

QUOTE(varst @ Mar 10 2012, 04:06) What you may need is a better destruction staff (if you don't have one already). I'm not so sure, but 60-75 rounds on normal doesn't sound okay. Or try to melee past them.
not really, that was what I got the other day on normal. it could have been I got a few more channeling at that time. I got about under 90 todya. doing 60-75 turns is doable under the right conditions. [ dl.dropbox.com] http://dl.dropbox.com/u/12315555/FSM_002.png

Clicking on a lock, so that it appears yellow, prevents you from accidentally selling that piece of equipment by making it not appear in your inventory while browsing the Equipment Shop. Keep in mind that if you lock a piece of equipment from the Equipment Shop, you must refresh the page for the lock to take effect.

I mean 90 rounds against legends/trio doesn't sound that right on normal difficulty.

Well, that was weird. I did Crysfest on Normal and I got 2 Crystals per drop instead of 1 which I got the first time I tried Crysfest on Normal. Also, after 60 rounds, still no artifact. I haven't seen an artifact in weeks.

QUOTE(trikon000 @ Mar 12 2012, 13:07) It is not what I expected from spirit shield. You can still die if the there are enough mobs to hit you for under the amount before SS kicks equal or exceed your HP.
i pretty much still have SoL and SS both caste at the same time. its annoying, the threshold before SS kicks should be lower imo

It varies depending on the slot (body, head, etc). Shield armor with the Barrier suffix will naturally have the highest Block percentage. You can look at the ranges for each equipment parameter here: http://ehwiki.org/wiki/Equipment_Ranges#Shield

Also note that the blocking chance in wiki's equipment range isn't the most updated version, since there are insufficient data points in the past.

I was wondering, regarding mace strategy, if would make good strategy having all Power equipment except one with high chance of blocking, or is better having all Power.

Mace 2H? Go all power and kill them fast. Club 1H? Find a Shield set with high blocking chance...It takes forever to finish off 1 round

QUOTE(ChosenUno @ Mar 11 2012, 19:54) I don't think it's that bad, actually. Levelling up fast means you'll get to a certain level where you can comfortably train your equips. Currently, that's freaking tough to do, even on normal.
I can't wait until spirit shield.
Besides, I don't know why people at my level have difficulties with credits. I'm sitting comfortably on >400k most of the time, and that's without selling any hath or e-drinks or stuff like that.
We is almost the same level and I never have any credits. >_>. If I'm ever sitting on that much, its because I just sold a couple of phazons and hath. My credits go into training as soon as possible though. I really want to get the archaeologist one but all I can afford are luck of the draw, scavenger, and quartermaster. Figure scavenger is always good to get a bunch of crap I can sell. But maybe I'll get lucky and get an equip worth selling.

Well, why rush on training anyway? It's not like you'll ever get anything worthy at this level @_@. I'm currently only training Ability points. The rest seems fine to me, as long as I have enough pots to support my needs. I still have a crapload of stuff I haven't been bothered to put into my shop yet. Sigh, it'll be a tiring, boring day when I do that.

The ability points I think I have enough of. (could always use more but everything I need I got and then some). I want to train scavenger, luck of the draw, and quartermaster because one day it will give me something worth having. And until then, they help with my credit income. More gears and better gears mean I can sell them while more potions means that I don't have to buy any. But its more of a long run type of thing. And archaeologist would be the one I would train till it was max if it were cheaper. Thinking about saving up to bring it up one more level though.

I've knocked off a lot of the training so far (including a couple semi-useless but very cheap ones) and these are the main ones left I'm looking at (slowly) maxing out: Archaeologist (7/10) Quartermaster (10/20) Luck Of The Draw (18/25) Scavenger (28/50)
Which one gives the most bang for the buck? I'm leaning towards Luck Of The Draw simply because it ensures that the items that *do* drop are higher in quality, thus making Exquisites more likely since I fight at IWBTH to boot. Artifacts are always kind of rare and I don't think 3 additional points is going to help significantly; I get plenty of regular drops making Scavenger seem a little low priority; and while I don't get a ton of equips I have been getting more than in the past thanks to the recent update (2-3 equips per Arena if I'm lucky).
I'm holding off on Adept Learner until my (most-used) proficiencies catch up to my level. There's also Spelunker and Misc Posting left to max out but since I don't touch Item World and I don't post Misc galleries those are very useless to me. I've gotten everything else.

Scavenger gives you more chances at drops in battle. all others effect the quality or the item itself.
I make anywhere from 10K-15K in selling the junk that drops and that is only at 22/50 for scavenger.
It all comes down to the drop rate or the quality of it. At low levels, the drop rate is more important because it makes an actual return on items that you sell. At high levels like 300+, quality becomes more important for reasons like you might be the only 350+ person. so buyign from others is really out of the question. So you have to rely on what your own drops give you in that case. Take for example, Bunko before he was banned. When was the last time you saw him buy some equipment from someone in the WTS.
With your level at 300+, your going to likely have to put more training into LotD and QM.

Yeah, that's what I figured, I can't just rely on Sushilicious for all my equip needs. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) ...well, I *could*, but I'm pretty sure he hangs on to the best stuff for himself.
