QUOTE(4EverLost @ Feb 18 2012, 11:03) I just MM a pony to someone, so I only had 20 of them. Entered an arena... 44 3 Sonshi has been defeated. 44 2 Orbital Friendship Cannon hits Sonshi for 13651 void damage. 44 1 You use Orbital Friendship Cannon. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) iirc T said you can still use OFC for a while even if you no longer have all 21 ponies, but eventually the effect wears off

QUOTE(Tenboro @ Jan 16 2012, 23:07) Well, you keep it until the cached thing that counts your ponies expires anyway. Which is only an hour or so. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Play on BT/IWBTH on Crysfest.

Alright thanks, though I think I'm probably going to get raped on IWBTH and BT, but I'll give it a shot. Are Crysfest monsters easier to beat than Grindfest monsters?

Damn, I don't know how people could stay on IWBTH and be able to clear multiple mobs. I can maybe do 1 or 2 rounds before I run out of mana. Need to get to level 70 to get Regen. >.<

Don't play Crysfest and grindfest anymore. You should play Item World with Lowest Quality Equipment on IWBTH instead. Would you like to play IW with Crude Gossamer Robe of the Demon-fiend? It's free. This post has been edited by purng: Feb 18 2012, 06:19

I have a Crude item, though it's only level 9 so it's really impractical for grinding purposes, so yes please =3.

Just wanted to give a general thanks to all the great posters helping out in this thread.
After that talk earlier about Scythes/bleed, thought I'd try it too. Found a nice slaughter scythe. So much damn burden/interference though. Double my other 2handers. Very good damage; not the best I've seen (that was on an exquisite mace) but edges out my mace and estoc. 23% proc chance and 175 bleed (which is good, but I've seen others for 200+ my level-88) for 4 turns. After proficiency bonus, 258 per tick.
Fine item world/normal. Most mobs have 1200 to 1700 hp. Giants/ Undead 1700 to 2100. It's pretty interesting. Bleed damage would be (258*5=)1290 after a proc. Hit most things once, proc, they'll bleed to death. Just hope they don't use their specials when agitated and get crits on higher difficulties.
One annoying thing was trying to get it to proc on Arthropods. =P
Nicest thing was definitely the ability to deal with the proximity gaps caused by domino strikes. 2 or 3 isolated guys is annoying w/ 2handers, so that was a real nice benefit.
Gonna try on heroic+. Definitely will give this more play when I've upped my block/parry a bit. Have a few pieces of shield armor, but the cuirass is too weak to use in this build, so 5.5% block and 6% parry means must go high absorb/mitigation first.
I picked up a low level ethereal longsword of slaughter in the bazaar. Damage is meh, but bleed is pretty good too, so gonna level that up and play some more.

Just to ask people who are better min/maxers than me, which of these dual-wields would you choose, assuming all bleed-style?
Set 1) 795 damage, offhand soul, 95.7 hit, 27.9 crit, 14.6 parry, 39% bleed chance Set 2) 836.2 damage, both slash, 96.1 hit, 25.7 crit, 11 parry, 34% bleed chance Set 3) 821.3 damage, both slash, 96.1 hit, 25.5 crit, 15.1 parry, 34% bleed chance
Essentially, is the small amount of crit, parry, and bleed chance worth using now-nerfed soul damage, or if not, is 4% parry worth the small damage loss?
Or most likely, "Doesn't really matter, none of those are enough better than the others to care."?
If it matters to anyone, their levels are... haha... 56, 102, and 104 in order.
(the lv 56 actually has a lower crit than the lv104, 0.02% higher then the lv102, i don't understand whats going on there, the dex is in the middle and the agi is the lowest, so it having about 2+ more crit% confuses me)
Edit: looked at the wrong item for one of the levels.

then try flymsy/crude/fair/Average/Fine/Superior/Exquisite in item world, i think there should always have one of them suit you

I'll go with set 1. However, I'm not sure how much 30-40 dmg difference make in battle at low level... If it's huge, then other set might be better. I doubt it though.
