I'm not entirely what you would call an expert, but I've been looking for the same things for the past few days so I've seen the general prices. Kevlar of Protection seems to vary wildly between sellers who know its value and higher end stats so its hard to really nail down a solid price. I've seen good pieces range from 5k-30k. Shade armor is also extremely tough to price right now, the patch just hit so most of the shade you see people selling is old, which is more or less worthless vs new shade. The market on new Shade is still forming for the most part, but I've seen a few pieces of average+ quality for 15k+. I'm sure they'll most likely be higher than previously since the new patch makes grinding slower and harder.

Thanks. That explains why I see some Shade armors priced at 100k+ whereas others float around 5k. Maybe sellers are just being nice as well.

Can anyone tell me which is more beneficial? Parry Evade Resist? I haven't found a good explanation for them in the Wiki (I understand evade though).

Parry = Works against physical attacks
Resist = Works against magical attacks (only Elementals and Boss+ enemies ATM)
Evade = Works against all attacks
Block = Works against all attacks, chance to counter

AFAIK you only have a chance to counter if you're holding a shield. Shield armor doesn't count.

Negation is never a popular suffix.
There's a slim chance you're going to face magical attacks, so put that into your last priority.

Should I go for pack rat or just wait till tiers that have +1 item slot? Since the cost of pack rat is relatively high for me now.

The only tier the has an item slot that you haven't gotten is at lvl 150. You should get at least one lvl of Pack rat now if you haven't right now and get the rest with the RoB clear bonuses after you get Spark of Life at Lvl 100.

Max. which is about 5, the exact value depend on the slot.

Just tried it, it works without a shield as well:

1 6 You counter Liselotte Werckmeister for 878 points of slashing damage.
1 5 You block the attack from Liselotte Werckmeister.

Probably some kind of bug or Tenb changed that when he merged shield prof. to one-handed prof.

Need confirmation from another player to change EH-wiki.

No shield equipped.

Although it's pretty obvious that wearing a shield is still better than not wearing one if you're going one handed.

Blocking and counter is connected to 1H fighting style.
Which is a 1-handed weapon in the main hand, and no other weapon in the off-hand.
The shield is essentially a piece of armor, and adds to stats but doesn't affect the choice of fighting style as such.

It goes in line with one of the 1-H skills. You can do shield bash without a shield... or so the wiki says.

I'm continuously doing Crysfests on BT and leveling up at fair speed, but just wondering if there is any faster way to level up? I don't really need credits though. Also I'm constantly training adept learner.

I'm starting to have a pile of junk in my inventory growing. At what lvls should I be selling off this to players? It is getting harder to track with the tagging broke in STATs atm.

My trainers are at:
Scavenger 19/50
Luck of the Draw 5/25
Quartermaster 4/20

Well you need to convince yourself that your inventory worths something, otherwise you can't convince others to buy that.
You can open a shop at any level; whether anyone will be purchasing is another matter.

Wow, feeling pretty good with myself there. My scavenger is at 18 but lotd is 6 and quartermaster is 5.

I do want to up my scavenger but I'm buying crystals instead. Figure the loot the critters brings is worth more than getting a couple of extra potions or semi crappy equipment. (especially if I get a phazon, they going for 100k right now).

As for selling equips, well I don't think I have anything really worth selling. But I would think anything under superior is junk. And even if its superior or better, depending on its prefixes and suffixes, it could just be junk as well.

I find it easier to sell everything but that to people.
