QUOTE(JFK_360_Noscope @ Dec 26 2017, 17:04) Hey, gotta get the most from whatever you have. There aren't any elemental damage types I'm weak against so my spike shield isn't much use at all defensively but I figured it might be slightly better offensively even if the difference is significant. I'm thinking of using the frost spike shield's effect on enemies might give my tempestuous weapon a little more firepower.
For defense it is not real of any use. But ether you use the spike that fits to the element of your attack, or you use fire.

Not to sound condescending or anything but I'm not sure how this game works and if what I'm trying out is actually affecting the gameplay. I have played games where I had to do some weird rituals for efficiency's sake and I later learned it was a waste of time because it wasn't affecting the gameplay at all. That's why I'm asking the experts. As an example, in Left 4 Dead I used to turn off my flashlights if a witch is around but it turns out they don't care at all and they're more likely to gib you if you're standing next to her rather than shining her face from across the room nam sayin This post has been edited by JFK_360_Noscope: Dec 26 2017, 22:17

It does. I even updated the wiki not so long ago to mention that elemental procs do amplify the power of matching elemental strikes, after going through an appropriate experience to check it.

Greetings Experts. Happy Holidays. If one exceeds the 10/day cap for PA adjustments on one or more days are those excesses filled on the following days? . If you mean that you can later one adjust more PA, the answer is yes. But if you have to adjust that much, that you actually would care about that, i suggest to just create another persona.

Hey, Uncle Stu. Thanks. When making PA adjustments, I can sometimes get carried away. Have a Happy New Year!

Why won't my monsters bring me gifts? I feed them all the time, morale is at 100% as well. first one is lvl 300 and is stuck at Battles Won:20 :Killing Blows: 1 for ages, 2nd monster is at 11 battles and 3 ratio at 201lvl, 3rd one is at lvl148 with no battles whatsoever. From the top they have 110%, 113%, and 105% gift factor; I added a bit to other stats aswell, but I don't think it's worth mentioning. I've been upgrading them with crystals whenever I had some. What am I doing wrong? It's said that they have 25% chance of bringing a gift, so with that I should get something every 4th time I reload monster lab, let's say each 20 mins? I don't know. Please give me some pro tips on how to make my squad bring me stuff.

Every three days, every monster bring you something or when they win a battle. Who the hell did you tell this bullshit with those every 25 minutes? (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/huh.gif)

Sorry for sounding silly with this 25 minutes thing, but in that case how do I make them do battles? After all it says in the wiki part you pointed out that they can bring gifts up to once per hour.

By naming them, what you allready did and every hour is just refering to when they actually win a battle after battle. And no there is no magical trick to make them win battle after battle.

hope in RNG. you can also try to boost their PLs a bit, but it's 90% a matter of luck, really. in such conditions i wouldn't waste too much credits in crystals, if i happened to be only a casual trainer. After all it says in the wiki part you pointed out that they can bring gifts up to once per hour. You don't make them battle. They're just picked up randomly by the game when players engage in battles. Do you lose often? No. So it means that monsters win rarely. Even when they do, there are so many monsters out there that the likelihood that one of yours was in the pack that won, is small. It really takes a monster to be one of the strongest in the entire game to win regularly. Just create them, then leave them where they are without expecting them to do wonders. And thank Tenboro for making it so they do bring gifts at least once every 3 days. If you want more gifts, create more monsters and don't bother raising their PL, because doing so is only a credit sink.

Fundamentally there is an hard limit, no matter how much a monster win it can bring gift at max 1 time every 60 minutes.
So if you got a gift from a monster that monster will not bring gift for at least 60 minutes, even if it win a battle.
