IW earns next to nothing in terms of credits. The final round of an IW doesn't have increased drop chances, unlike arenas or random encounters. IW takes less time than arena. Far less. Arena means giving up your precious half hourlies. And GF is considered worthless unless you're swimming in perks AND can go SEVERAL hundred rounds. IW is 100 rounds max.
My stamina has never gone below 70, and rarely below 80. EDs don't matter to me.
Also great stamina only affects exp anymore, so if you're not chinese-gold-farming you way down to 10 stamina you shouldn't need any EDs.
Damage doesn't matter when you don't get hit or know what you're doing. You're 1h, you shouldn't be getting hit anyway; but it also takes longer (recent discussions say otherwise) so you'd still hate doing IW. Mage is different story. 2H has several non-mace and non-FRD options if the gear is there. Even with gear, it's simpler to just FRD once and kill all or almost all before it runs out. I'll be there myself with a few more bindings.
Right now I'm at that weird range where 2 FRD is bad depending on mob life, so I have to manage PA and use the other skills or just box them out. The skills are better anyway because you're guaranteed to get at least 50oc back with shatter and rending deals the most damage. I need a rich person with a godly longsword to start the round with only rending blow and count how many turns it takes to kill. Failing that, rending-shatter. FRD is capped at 11 turns in order to start each round with it, but of course you'd need to spend some rounds recharging it. It's actually better to take 14-15 turns for ease of playing. Godly Longsword of AssKicking should guarantee a kill outright with rending-shatter. The question is whether or not the extra damage makes up for no penetrate on the remaining five, or if the kill speed is enough to tank out all ten with only a rending blow. (If you're going to use rending and shatter, you might as well just use FRD and save the gorillions of c on upgrades, but at least you can save 3 or 4 turns! (IMG:[

All subsequent rounds are played on pfudor. I mean, it's not like you can't play on lower diffs at a lower price, but that's a bad move if you're an ED user on top of simply taking more time. The only cost of doing IW besides consumables and wear that everything shares is the o.cost of doing another mode. So again,
how are you losing money on IW?(btw, the only difference between iwbth and pfudor is a slight quality roll and guaranteed superior, which is more like a punishment than a reward. Superiors salvage for less scraps than averages and often sell for less than the shop price of them, and pony knows there are too many magnifishits with incorrect pabs to even bother looking at superiors anymore. I haven't really touched trainings ever since hito said he wouldn't have spent a red c if he could do it all again. Maybe it's different with max lotd.)
And again, and unless the wiki is wrong, the only thing you gain from GF over IW is crystals. GF also has a credit penalty. GF was like the first thing to get nerfed lol
Or to put it more simply: IW likely does make less money than other modes. The question is
by how much and at what startup cost (trainings/perks)? Super and Sapo brought numbers. I'm sure as hell not spending over9000 (literally!) hath on perks just to
work it off in several
years' time. I think doing all arenas on normal + fsm for the noodle is still considered the best credit/time if you're strictly in it for credits anyway, so (IMG:[
