Not sure where else to ask this, I have been running a generic Superior Rapier and been looking at the lottery for a Peerless Rapier since I have a substantial amount of GP saved up. However since I have started keeping an eye on the lottery for easily 2 months, no Rapier of any suffix has appeared. Have they been removed, or is it just a unlucky streak?

it's just random. And don't hold your breath for lottery - that's mainly a credit sink for the super-rich players. Better to sell all the GP and use credits to buy a good rapier.

Hello, I'm not sure where to ask this question, either here or the "Post your build" thread (or the 2018 ask the experts), so I thought this was a safe bet.
So currently, I'm running around in Nintendo difficulty. But I want better equipment, so I want to move upwards to PFMORDOR. So how do you all live with PFODOR? (I want better equipment for lower levels to help those below me).
Here are 2 screenshots of how I stack up. This first is from a 50-round arena on IWTHV, the second is on a 25-round on PFEDOR.

my advice is to play at highest difficulty that you can play without using cure (or only incidental). That will help you level up faster and gets you better drops.

In terms of my build, it's basically,
for stats, if stat is not AGI, then stat = lv. Else, stat = as high as I can put it.
for equipment, it's a 1h, Light. Usually arcanist armor and battlecaster hand equips.
My strategy seems to be: 1: Crowd Control with Weaken, Sleep, and Shield Bash. 2: Reduce numbers by hover-murder. 3: stall and fish for overcharge and soul fire for ether theft. 4: Turn on Spirit stance, mop up.
I find that I need better damage mitigation, as noted by my first goto as reduce damage through CC.

1h melee has much more use for STR and DEX, less Agi, and far less for INT. In the Wiki Advice & Advice Advanced you can find an optimal suggestion.
Also, Orbital Friendship Cannon (OFC) could be a wise investment at this point.

u may want to switch to shielding plates if u rly have difficulty surviving in PFD. As u level up ur spirit shield, ur spirit shield absorbs more damage and ur battles become more secured. Then start buying powers to increase damage and clearing speed. Force shield is necessary since it provides more block chance.
As for stats, u may want END as high as STX and DEX for now. Once u feel like u have no trouble clearingPFD, keep END moderate rather than high. Rapier should be slaughter or balance if u have low hit chance.

Easy. Don't count on the lotteries to bring you equipment. You'd better be looking for an Exquisite rapier in the shops, that'd way better for you.

You're doing it very wrong.
Your equipment is for the "1H mage" playstyle, which is more about using Imperil and offensive spells, not spending your time using depr spells and curing. Here you are sacrificing a lot of defense potential to save mana to... defend? Except that spamming that many depr spells every round is rather bad and inefficient.

See it that way: you spend your time defending with depr spells and curing, but what is your actual, natural defense? Barely any damage mitigation, barely any blocking with your shield, barely any damage to actually kill the monsters (which will help you being attacked less). I'm pretty confident that you'd do wayyy better with a Buckler of the Barrier or a Force Shield, a full Leather of Protection set, and a rapier/shortsword of Balance/Slaughter/Nimble.

With proper offense and defense, you won't need to spam Weaken and all in the first place. And then you won't need to save/restore mana just as much. If you really need to save mana anyway, use draughts, potions and Featherweight Shards.

If you're not using imperil you should always aim for 1.0 prof.

I believe hot and cold mages are on the same boat (*・∀・)爻(・∀・*) here. The usual answer people give is that imperil is better than no-imperil.

I tried playing with no imperil during my start, shoes + cap = prof_factor of >1. Took the cap out and put a phase on, imperil all the way,
DwD ( ￣ー￣)φ__ turn count remained around the same at the point, whoever clear speed raised because I was healing less often.

If the situation was like that at start,ヾ(￣◇￣)ノ〃 imperil would just improve itself with the time, due to forging the EDB in the phase.

For SG arenas most of the turns and time is spent bullying (*/▽＼*) schoolgirl, so no matter if you kill the mons without imperil, you would need to imperil the girls, so why not already do it from start?

Yes, the scripts compare based on actual current values.
Check all the stats though, most will be quite lower.

Whoever did tell you to mix leather/shade armor with 1H, didnt ment it too well with you.

actually around his level 1H + Leather should work well to migrate from 2H + Leather to 1H + Power...

I don't have enough hath to purchase a hath perk that costs more than 250 hath without spending more than a million credits but should I get innate arcana iii now or at a later time because I would rather save up for crystarium ii right now.

Imo go for Crys II.

You should stop using Superior now. Exquisite should be the minimum for all your equipments now. 1H + leather isn't optimal in the long run, but at your level it should be the best you can get. I can guarantee a thing: if you're too afraid to take damage and spend a lot of turns to cast depr spells, that is exactly when the monsters actually tear you apart as you're taking too long to kill them.

And if you're not using it already: use Spirit Shield. You may want to use Haste aswell until you feel safe enough in order not to need it anymore.

So first change your weapo, your shield and your boots. If you really can't change your weapon, at least get it to potency 10 so it gets Hollowforged. Once you get an Exquisite weapon, don't be afraid of forging it until Forge 5.

Imo go for Crys II.

Yes.

No, get Innate Arcana III. Crystarium is useless for someone of your level. After Innate Arcana III, I recommend Tokenizer I.

Crystarium II will turn 2 crystals in drop to 3 crystals. ┐(︶▽︶)┌ Don't buy it yet. Calculate __φ(◎◎ヘ) all your crystal gains tomorrow. If you use monsterbation, it is already there after each RE/Arena, just add it all.
Half of that * 3,3 would be your estimated profit per day if you add Cryst II. Now you know how much time it would take you to regain the investment __φ(．．) considering the current hath price.

Ask yourself: is waiting this time to make a single credit of profit (￢_￢) really worth passing something else for?

No, get Innate Arcana III. Crystarium is useless for someone of your level. After Innate Arcana III, I recommend Tokenizer I.

I don't really want to get Innate Arcana III right now because it's not like I am a mage or something that will really need a perk like that instead of sticking with Innate Arcana II for a while longer.

How good is Innate Arcana III for a 1-hand sword and shield user like myself compared to Innate Arcana II?

This is just my opinion but I consider Tokenizer I to be less useful for me than getting more crystals for myself which I could always sell and for my two monsters to use at the monster lab.
