hvtoolbox will add this function, among with many other ones. but it's just another safety layer. being careful on bazaar and shrine should still be fine enough

Hey dude,

In general, how many percent a stat improves after upgrading it the first five times? Is it cheaper than daemon duality, or is it not?

I changed my password and it put my account on Lockdown for 24 hours.

IE - No Bazaar, no access to HatH, etc.
But... it allows me to play.

Now my question is.....

If I clear the arenas, will it still give me my tokens, etc.?
Or do they all flutter away to where ever Pinkie Pie happens to be frolicking?

Just did some poking myself, and most always the upgrading to 5 will be cheaper. Upgrading the first 5 levels in the forge will see an 8% return on increases to that stat.

If 5 forge equal to 8% stat increase, I suppose you have to upgrade weapon and all five piece of armor to get overal 8% increase. For phase+staff set, it will equal to somewhere around 5M (damn expensive phazon). Cotton will make it a bit cheaper, I guess, but the cost will still be at around 5M.

a bit over 8M for a 10% damage increase look intimidating at first. But if you have more than one set, or even plan to replace your already cool piece of armor with even cooler one (which may have yet to appear), then DD1 would be a great investment. Yeah, by my understanding, you're absolutely right that a DD 1 would be the easier economic choice for maging, it is definitely a better long-term investment unless you had a couple of great legendaries/peerless that you would not replace anytime soon.

Wow DJNoni has 3 dark staffs, he is like Roronoa Zoro. I don't know much about how to fight with wooden stick. The new Legendary Demonic Willow Staff of Destruction is better than the old one? And Spellweaver is better than Archmage?

before 0.82, quality tier was calculated from the stats, so it was possible to have a legendary where some stats are very low. since 0.82, quality tier is rolled first and then the stats are rolled in that tier's range, so all stats on a legendary are guaranteed a certain minimum

Then this came up in auction. It was going to sell for a couple of m's. Annoying, because I spent way more on my staff. I couldn't bear seeing it go for under 10m so that's what I bid. And then I won.

Salvaging gives 90%(rounded down) of the mats back, except for catalysts which you wont get back.

It should be noted that stats generate prefixes, not the other way around (with the exception of Peerless). The quality prefix is based on the average value of all the stats relative to their possible maximum.

Makes sense, thanks for the breakdown. Even though I don't know much, I had considered buying it when you first made your WTS, but then I saw level 500. At the slow rate I am leveling, there is no guarantee I will ever reach level 400. Also I don't have enough credits, but I recently discovered the power of the dark star which could provide the black money for that demon staff to survive.

I'm not sure you overpaid too horribly for your first staff. If I recall from when you obtained it earlier, it was close to 50m, but the previous owner bought it from auction for 10m (just like your new one) then pumped 25m of upgrades (according to you) into it, plus a "perfect" IW.

Hi there, I've attached my stats page,

I really would like to know what I should be doing right now, trying to clear the later arena's seem to be taking longer than when I was doing two handed (Switched to Rapier + Shield). Is there something I should be investing in? I'm going to switch to mage once I reach around 310 and find the right equipment. Any advice would be appreciated.

At your level, monsters are getting tough. That's what you are experiencing, probably. Rapier & shield will prevent you from dying. Then you need to go power and/or Slaughter to make speed again. mag/leg rapier of slaughter. Power armors. Perhaps even Power of Slaughter (expensive!). And IW your rapier to 10 for extra strike and thus extra damange.

By the way, I don't see any pics or links attached...

Weapon and shield upgrade would be on the top of the list for me. You can check the Free Shop when it is back open in a couple days, though I'm gonna plug decondelite's store- he has a lot of good stuff for players right around your level, and at really reasonable prices too.

Guys, it's been like 3-4 years since I last played, want to play again but I'm totally lost. Been reading some things on the 2018 thread (there is some useful tips there, thanks), but I'm still lost. I'm not exactly a newcomer because I already got some equipment and stuff, but without knowledge it isn't much.

Any tips on where to start? What's a good build to follow at my level and such?

Someone suggest me to try rapier + shield. Reading the wiki I tried to get the rapier of slaughter, shield of force and heavy armor with power of protection. But I could only find some items that I already owned.
