@Scremaz: I don't think a PHOH will go for less than 300M.

Whats the biggest income of credits in the game that isnt another player? Where all those millions upon millions of credits come from to begin with?

Having a flat 0 in a stat is a mistake not to do for any fighting style, because all stats contribute to the spirit bar and you're better off with a considerably better SP pool than a single point in one of the maxed out stats. That is, I'm not even mentioning the fact that parry is boosted by the Dex stat.

this. i'm not sure what's the effect of a bigger base SP pool for mages, but DEX is the only way to boost Parry for them. getting a 20%-ish shouldn't be a bad thing

INT = WIS
END = AGI = WIS - 5
DEX = WIS - 55 (I have no idea where the 55 comes from, ideally you should check the defensive boost of DEX compared to AGI and find the values that gives the same efficiency)
STR = 0 until level 500 (at level 500 it will just have the unallocated points)

You can pretty much get millions of credits by just playing (credits drop, artifacts, equip drops and, if you do fests, crystals).
The other source should be considered a contribute to the site more than a way to get a benefit in HV.

No parry > Monsters attack while you imperil > YOU dead
Bigger SP pool > easier to maintain with draughts + less spirit potions used + spirit regeneration strenghtened

According to wiki 's formulas on sp, sp consumption of spark+shield, sd + natural restoration, increasing pans will not affect the ratio among them. Thus, str provides 0 useful stats.

Reality may of course be different since wiki is known to be not 100% accurate

Two issues:

First: SoL has a cooldown. If you forgo too much defensive stuff, you get Sparked faster than this cooldown and die.

Second: The amount of spirit lost to being sparked is 50% of base spirit.
The amount of spirit restored by SD is 1% of base spirit per tick, 50 ticks = 50%.

The actual amount of base spirit you have doesn't matter either way for either. More or less doesn't help nor hinder you.

Spirit Shield, on the other hand, converts big hits partially into spirit damage. That's just applied to your total spirit. As in, the value boosted by your Spirit Tank general ability. Larger base spirit means more max spirit. Which reduces what % of your spirit is lost to any particular attack, which means your remaining spirit will generally be a higher % of your base, and make you able to Spark more easily and also increases the amount of spirit regenerated by potions/draughts relative to any particular Spirit Shield losses.

And, lastly, Spirit Elixirs restore based on max spirit, not base. So higher base * Spirit Tank = bigger Spirit Elixir heals. Which gives you more Sparks/Spirit Shield benefit per restorative after a high enough base spirit is reached.
