Even when taking your connection into account, it's still quite slow for PFUDOR Eternal Darkness for someone of your level.
You're doing something wrong, and you should also do your maximum to see if you can't solve anything in the quality of your connection. A lot of lag issues involve the configuration of one's computer and router, not the quality of the Internet network.

I had that kind of stuttering issues like that some time ago, and it was due to my router. Solved it, very smooth now.

I have no way of setting up the router since this is a shared house I'll be living in just a month or so, so that's off the table.
As for what I'm doing, I realized I hadn't equipped the Imperil abilities, but I don't know if that alone is enough.
I'm a 1H+Heavy, I just hover until things are dead, and I imperil the schoolgirls when they appear.
That's it.

My suggestion would be lowering your INT (to 0, by 10 per day) and raising your STR a lot. Also, your block is low.

But with choppy internet and low ping, you could consider starting a mage build. That would require you to do some bounties, I think. Elemental is easiest to get started. Fire is cheapest option, Cold is good and reasonable priced, but the more expensive elements (wind, Elec) are somewhat better. But then even with bad internet 20 minutes would be achievable.

I'd rather stick with Melee since I want to be able to play while I'm barely paying any attention, and even with scripts a mage build looks too involved.
Also, won't 0 INT be a problem? I mean, I still use a shitton of MP and supportive/deprecative spells.

0 INT wont be a problem since MP pool is based on WIS and the costs dont increase with lower INT.


If you havent already, I suggest you to purchase orbital friendship cannon. It is not very expensive and will noticeably reduce your clear turn count, which means faster runs.

it depends *when* you use it. in case of SGs, the biggest effect will be to wipe away all the small fry around them, yep. you can also try to inflict a 1~2 stacks of PA on them and/or to cast Imperil to boost OFC efficiency, but i doubt you'll be able to one-shot them...

yes, shield seems to be the highest priority. a Mag or a low-tier Leg Force shouldn't be that hard to acquire at your level... if you don't mind sinking a few soul fragments, i have a couple Mags to give away.

Nah, I said it wrong. Better equip will gradually improve your speed, step by step. In the future, when you start creating a mage build, and after you level up a lot, and after you spent millions on forging mage gear, etc, etc, then (lv 450 or so) you will be able to do it three times faster.

As a fellow long-time melee player, I agree that melee is great for non-attentive play. Playing as mage requires constant use of potions and cures while melee never uses potions and rarely cures, but in exchange you can clear rounds approximately twice as fast as a high-end melee build. Depends on what you prefer.

I personally have bumped my intelligence to 250 just for the extra spirit points it provides. INT by itself doesn't do anything, but the XP required to get it to 200-250 is so negligible that you might as well do it. My next STR upgrade requires 28 BILLION XP, while the next INT upgrade (251) requires 2 million. Drop in the ocean.

And orbital friendship cannon is great. A proper melee build would be able to maintain spirit stance indefinitely anyway, so using OFC just means a few turns without SS until you charge back to the pips required to activate SS. And especially in grindfests, it basically one-shots ~300 rounds all by itself, so you're really only having to kill 700 rounds worth of monsters to beat a PFUDORfest (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif)

8~10k each on wtb. something like that.

Striborg's turn count and clear time is comparable to mine, I don't think he needs to get that much stronger. And I'm still using the shield with 25% block chance ehehe, but only for a couple more levels until I upgrade to my replacement 35% shield.

By the way, just noticed I have a shitton of excess lesser equips.

I agree with the rest, but I wouldn't be that sure on this part.
With 1.1t/s (and mage will probably have even lower t/s) it would be pretty challenging to finish ED in 20 minutes.
In non-element day I can't reliably go under 7 minutes myself, and I have 3+ t/s.

First check decondelite WTB. Low level gear is often valuable!

well, of course the higher the better, but i don't know how's the market at your level...

I'm slightly ahead of you in gear and level, but not by much.

I think your best bet at this point is just to keep an eye out for the cheapest power armor that is close to your level, and at least Magnificent quality. Try to get all your armor with Strength, Dex, and Endurence (don't swear how much, just as long as it has 40-ish or more). Five pieces of gear all giving 120-ish stats each adds up. Pieces with "of Protection" and other defensive suffixes like Warding, or Dampening are cheaper than offense suffixes like Balance or Slaughter, so stick to those.

Watch Kedama's and Super's auctions each week, and keep an eye out for low level (we're considered low level in the lower 300's) power armor that isn't being bid on by others. Try to snag cheap stuff you can wear now or will be able to wear soon (whatever counts as soon to you in your opinion). You can get stuff for the 50k minimum bid (and a slight discount in Super's auctions for bidding early). If you find a piece you can really use, be willing to go a bit higher. Somtimes I see pieces I'm willing to go 150k, or even 250k for.

Your sword is pretty good, the shield you just got is solid. Fill out the rest of your slots.

I'd only really worry too much about the percentile listing for ADB% if you gind a nice piece you'd like to soulfuse. Otherwise just keep an eye on the actual damage value the piece of armor has, and what level you'll be able to wear it. The ADB% just helps you compare, for example, how good a level 200 legendary helmet is compared to a level 500 legendary helmet. If the 200 has higher ADB%, if you soulfuse it, it will have higher ADB at 500 than the one already at 500.
