Talking about switching to maging. In my case I am at level 428 and still no mage set. I figured when I switch I would focus on getting good staff first then build the rest of the set around whatever element of staff I got. I am certainly by no means rich yet but since I can spend high single digit millions I figured I may as well get a mid range staff to start so I dont need to replace that for a while.

on spell damage formula
magic_dmg 24445 gives a T3 elemens of 91669 in average with no crit, no channels, mitigation in 50%
magic_dmg 25097 gives a T3 of 94115 in same situationings

adds imperil in the mid and is of "wow it is (kinda) fuxxing nothings" o(>< )o... betters is betters though but betweens destruc MDB50%EDB40% and elemenMDB40%EDB65% maybes better get elemen?

if you considers ppl with radians, the differents mights be even lowers as you woulds be adding mdb in mix reduce relatives differents in final damage as is staff mdb + radiands mdb so the lower gets a bit of relatives bigger bonus here now? ヾ( ̄O ̄)ツ

edit: also huge chance of me being wrong in calculationings am not math ppl, threw wiki data on X-cell (which means mutants cells ୧((#Φ益Φ#))୨

Wise. There are several good mid-tier staffs for sale at the moment in auction. You could let the bidding decide which element to go for?

Edit: ah. you don't need advice, I see.

Quick question: What are the recommended potencies for armor? Is it Juggernaut > Holyproof >= Darkproof > Fireproof = Coldproof = Elecproof = Windproof > Capacitor?

Yes, you know - pretty much like this.

From all magical type attacks holy is most common (6%), then Void (6%), then Fire, Cold and Elec (all 3%) and then Dark and Wind (2%).

However, few bosses and schoolgirls have some nasty Dark attack, so you should get an extra defense against them

So, imho, the most optimized pattern for melee player is:
Juggernaut > (Capacitor?)* >> Holyproof > Darkproof > Fireproof = Coldproof = Elecproof > = Windproof > (Capacitor?)*
- so pretty much what you have posted above =)

* - Depending on your level, and MP pool. For 400+ player with 1600 MP with IA5 - Capacitor is useless.

So, what about this table?

Staff tier are variable depends on style you play.
-If you got good phases and forge them to a high level then Fiery/Arctic Willow Destruction would be better than Fiery/Arctic Redwood Destruction.
-Prof suffix is always a good choice if you play non-imperil(yes,you can play without imperil but that's not very efficient except several centain conditions).
*Except Demonic Willow of Destruction,it's way too strong that can performs better than Demonic Katalox of the Demon-fiend even using non-imperil.

QUOTE(reality_marble @ Nov 10 2017, 18:41) *

for burn/cool redwood hurtings vs elemen
pick base on range wiki for 100% (pearless, is of hungry ( ˘▽˘)っ♨)

at lvl 500 int 480 wis 480 staffprof 550 no daemonsperk (assumings these values)
(=`ω´=)
full normal/charged phase of icyhell forged to max in edb/int/wis
except elemen prof shoe also forged to max in int/wis
total edb 336.86
int/wis is same 707.98
(∩` ロ ´)⊃━炎炎炎炎炎
at lvl 500 and max forgings artic crimsonwood of destruction : 1773.33 mdb and 102.45 edb int/wis 127.01

(ノ≧∀≦)ノ ‥…━━━★
magic_dmg calculatings for elemental of destruction: 25097
magic_dmg calculatings for elemental of elemental: 24441

(Normally at lvl 500 you'll get about 540-560 at every Primary Attributes if you adding points average,or int/wis more than 600 if not so average.but assumings any values you like)
Elemental suffix would performs better if you have more elementlist cotton and more radiant

More Capacitor will make it cheaper to use mana elixir than mana potion, save both turns and credits (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Frankly, considering the actual usefulness of potencies and the costs of reforging, I'd say that sticking to Jug5 and then whatever comes next to it is the best thing to do.

In others words: "Juggernaut > the rest" is all you need to know and consider.

How much I need Evade and Physical Mitigation to complete Pfudorfest with my dark set?
Is it even possible?

Everything and nothing.

If something seems cheap and interesting, train it. None of it is important really. If it seems expensive, don't train it.

Later on, when you're much higher level, some things might grow in importance.

Hi Darber, welcome to this forum. You can find training advice for new players on the wiki advice.

Adept learner is useful for low level players, as is ability boost. But don't spend too much.

Other than the Hath perk is there any way to boost the amount of soul fragments you can acquire? Just over extended and bought some armor 60 levels above me that took a bite out of 1/3 of my wallet, and then discovered I need 600 more fragments before I can soulfuse it.
