Pretty noobish question: does proc duration increase when an item is leveled up, or it's set in stone once the item is generated?

For some reason I remember reading it doesn't (also, the equipment scaling calc doesn't show anything) but was wondering looking at the wiki page...

Duration and amount scale, chance doesn't (case in point, you should see ~5 as duration).

Yeah, wiki was pretty clear about chance, but I didn't (don't lol) understand how to calculate the 'base_stat' value for the formula.

If you can't figure that out, this table should be valid for bleeding and PA.

Staff should have its duration increased at lv. 60, 160, 260, etc. The exact scaling factor is still not known.

Mace and clubs also have unknown duration formula, though it shouldn't be that much a problem for maces (most of them would get its fourth turn at lv.200 or above)

Are there items/equips which cant be sold?

Today I locked some equip I wanted to keep and the rest was sold. After clicking the "Sell All-Button" I realized that there was some equip left not being locked. I tried to lock and unlock it but it does not want to show up in the shop. :/

I tried to simulate your problem.

1. You locked some equip, then sold the rest of them.
2. You went back to your equipment menu and saw some of the unlocked equipments not sold.
3. You tried to lock and unlock those equipments, but they won't show up in the shop.

If my description's correct, most probably those equipments are in one of your equipment sets.
Unlocked equipments in equipment sets other than your active one will show up in your equipment menu, but it won't show up in the bazaar.

Tried searching at ehwiki, asking some veterans at hentai verse, but I finally decided to check here, at the "ask the experts" topic my questions, if you guys can help me please ^^

I usually do arenas for the credits, and loot of course

Grindfest only when there's no more arenas, item world i almost never do, cause at 40+ it starts to get pretty "hard" >.<

Usually i keep in the items a lot of "greater health potions, godly potions" all health ones, was using mana at this picture cause got some stock of mana, and though of improving my proficiences.

I want to be a dual wield fighting style, i usually cast haste and shadow veil, with some regen when necessary plus health when procs the mystic thing, and my buffs already with mystic.

Protection i almost never use, in rare cases i cast when mystic thing procs. Never use defend, use weaken on legendary or mini-bosses as well.

The poison, slow, blind, etc, i usually only use for legendary encounters.

So, would love any help from the experts ^^ arigatou

I seriously thought that, before this patch, the melee / mage balance was already quite good, and only need a few tweak within the style, like do something about mace so other 2H become more accessible, and/or make non-2H fighting style more competitive. A similar tweak for various offensive spell can be done for the mage camp if needed, too.


Now, just as cmal said: "Tenboro hates melee" ... I bet his good old 'statistic' is to blame for this. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sleep.gif)

I'm somewhat tempted to try out maging after this patch, but with the enormous cost of good maging equipment and the fact that I'm pretty poor from all the credits I spent on decent melee equipment, I just can't see it happening.

It's the same here, but most likely just quit the game for a while and see if anything changes.

I actually welcome the changes in gameplay, I mean, managing Overcharge, Spirit having some uses outside of SS, finally a skill (we should have a couple more I think, something very situational which won't break the game but still add some variety) etc, but if my efficiency drops noticeably when (imho) I'm not that strong to begin with, all of that it's just useless.

I've been slowly gearing up for mage for a while...not there yet with equipment that is good enough but it's coming along; since there is a continuous anti-melee slant it does frustrate me some.

your in a better position than those higher than you, so moving from melee to mage will likely take longer if you haven't sold off all that mage gear that drops.

You can probably put off maging until lvl 100 when some of the decent spells start to become available to you. You probably also want to save ability points for any spells your going to need/want.


Battlecaster gear is likely going to be the gear to want for those who have to transition hard from melee to maging.
