Dark and holy have very high mana cost unfortunately (and at your level is even worse).

If your data is by number of appearances, then there's a good chance it is the same going by names. I guess the game doesn't balance them out after all.

But if the game doesn't balance it out, then why did I feel like, at low beginner level (50) the monster population was balanced? Because I would imagine most beginners don't make arthropod or giant, after all who like spider? I thought beginners would make celestial and human, like I did.

My first thirteen monsters were one of each species. I'll decide what to make #14 when I get to making it.

I've also noticed that there is at least one person who has several arthropods, each named after an operating system. In addition to spiders, you also have all the rest of the arthropods that exist, by the way. Some people like bugs and crabs and stuff.

There are lots of reasons why people might make one thing over another though. If they want to make all their weeaboo waifu harem, lots of humanoids, celestials, and demons sure. If they're furries, beasts, reptiles, avions, and dragons probably are more appealing. Some people like mecha and bugs and zombies and stuff due to being "cool." The undead I made was "Ghost of the English Language." You can get really creative with all the options.

Even with prof perk, fully forged staff and level 50 prof boot, my prof factor is only 0.647. 14 more to 0.68. So it finally comes down to base prof. My base prof is currently 430, so 17 under my level. What strategy should I take to finally make my mage build playable? Wait a little more until I get everything forged to 10 then start spamming fests? Spamming IW now?

Adept Learner costs, what, 30k per level at 250? Assimilator is just too damn expensive. I still put zero on it because I am (⁄ ⁄•⁄ω⁄•⁄ ⁄) was a dumbass and didn't understood that the 1% extra drop chance is based on the base amount, not actually 50% drop chance at scavenger max (*ﾉ▽ﾉ) so I didn't put anything on that saving money back then. Afterwards, 100% for AL.

I am training elemental by casting once (∩ᄑ_ᄑ)⊃━☆ﾟ*･｡*･:≡( ε: ) per round over the last week and it is 1.07 ratio already... Reaching 1.04 - 1,05 of level is kinda fast and it went growing slowly after that. if you started casting every single round (ノ°∀°)ノ⌒･*:.｡. .｡.:*･゜ﾟ･*☆ every single round ╰( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡° )つ──☆*:・ﾟ every single round you would reach 450 by the end of the week?

Have you consider moving your elementalist cloth to head piece, leg piece, or robe?
I don't think pushing shoe will cut it.

That's why you're not gaining prof, because your exp gain is low

Well, just so you know, without reaching cap level, even with assimilator training maxed, your base proficiency will never reach more than 12% of your level. You will have more luck doing that if your level is lower. But start from lvl 400, it's just 11.8% max, and then tappering off.

You're looking at the wrong items eh?
426.091*1.1+142.17+109.67=720
437*1.68=734 so I need 13 more to reach 439 to get 0.68 factor

It's because the items are soulfused, the prof will scale to the viewer's level.
But your problem should fix itself once you train Adept Learner, get a pair of exp perks and a few levels of Assimilator.
And lots of grinding, of course (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif)

Most definitely! Balance between prof cotton and phase is so that you can kill quickly. Too much cotton made your attack spells, although irresistible, too light. Too much phase, in the other hand made your attack powerful, but rarely get through the mobs' defense.

The damage is fine it's just the fact I need to heal every 3-4 spells.

Which I guess could be fixed by maxing out the upgrades on my armor, but that's so expensive (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif)

I don't know how to do ItemWorld exactly.

I can't understand the mechanism of IW so I haven't tried it ever... sad.

What's the Potency? and What's advantage of reforging?

If you manage to complete Item World, you will gain a potency. Your weapon can gain 10 potencies. Each one will make your weapon just a little bit stronger, about 2% stronger.

There are different kinds of potencies and they are gained randomly. Some people only like certain one. If they get a potency they don't like, they will reforge to start the weapon over. It wastes a lot of money. For now, don't worry about it.
