I just started playing, how do I unlock skills?

I was thinking of buying a katana at the bazaar? Would that be suitable as a melee style?

buying mana draughts vs spirit draughts, they cost the half or less, no? use more cure + hp draughts. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
you can set up scripts to higher hp% warning/stop to save sp, since in the long run its cheaper to use hp and mp draughts as relaying on sparking (high sp maintain cost).
if still tomuch sp use after adjusting scripts hp%, then your prof and/or equip is not rdy, i guess.

rather then a katana look for a mace, since stun prevent them from parry and evade your atk.
also buy Voidseeker Shard to get void dmg on your mace, it do way more dmg as plain crushing from mace default typ it self, apply/use also grant you 50% more hit/acc.
shard effect hold 1hour, so use it if you play atleast that long.
for your lvl, it would be nice to get a exqusite mace with any element dmg type
(banshee or vampire drain effect would be not as good, beside this 2 anything would work untill 200+ lvl),
get it itemworlded to 10lvl to have 3 hits at once (Void Damage + Element Strike + Void Strike), with infusion even 4 types. incase you want to speed up lvling!

enchanting you do it there, select your mace and applay 1x.

Katana is good weapon, but not as novice weapon. Instead, better buy a Mace. Mace can stun enemies and this will greatly help you in the beginning (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

If you want to exploit elemental resistance decreasing (and don't care about other bonuses of each spike shield), then:

• Fire weapon -> Elec spike shield
• Ice weapon -> Fire spike shield
• Elec weapon -> Wind spike shield
• Wind weapon -> Ice spike shield

imo i dont think so.

untill he find armor for his lvl, he need more safty over kill speed!
even if he has a okay armor set, what ever it might be heavy or light, mace will do him better,
since he can counter the fact laking stats/equip to suport a playstyle with 2h sword (which is advanced) just fine
with a mace (he even can focus to get mp back in the time monster are stuned).
mace just covers tomuch! (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
like geting less parryed/evaded, lack of good armor set, lack of stats like hit/acc low hp pool.....
he can always try diffrent stuff later on, for now he should do what will grant him more play fun.

Yesterday I did a quick-round down of common monsters. Updated that info from 1,770 monsters to 5,913.
We have so many Celestials... Why exactly people like them?

i have 52 myself from 200 slots.

they are hard hiter with holy/void, since high int/wis.
good hp pool for caster mops and they are fast.

back then they were reported to be a very efficient class. eventually that proven to be not-so-true anymore, but they remained since they couldn't be deleted

This seems to be a real life saver, but sadly I can't get it running. I use firefox developer edition, added tampermonkey, added the script, and added exception for popups for this domain. But when I search and press enter or click on smartsearch, the page comes up completely blank.
Any help?

Why exactly people like them?

As other people said (／_^)／ there are people who make "In memorablia of dark sages #158" "Shadowcat #198" monsters and there are people who make character based monsters ＼(^_＼) In fiction celestials are one of the most common beings.
I might be in the wrongs ( ・・) but you will need to prove me with statistics about only non-specific named monsters because I needed/am needing a load of different name variations to make my mons

Have you first "Saved" the pages? (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Script is working with local database, so you should first create that database.
See, there are two buttons: "SmartSearch" and "Save"? Click on the latter. It now should say "Downloading". Then - "Done".
Repeat that process with every WTB/WTS page. In other words - put them all into such database (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

After that script should start working as intended. It supports wildcards and regex, so you can make search query like this: "Legendary*rapier" if you need.
