That's right. For that reason I had to play dual wielding as well. I don't use 1H style (too much).

QUOTE(reality_marble @ Oct 18 2017, 12:43) DwD last night took me 1hour and half ( ; ω ; ) How much the non-maging rich people take to finish that?
If the internet is good, it will take me 35 minutes (with 1H). And if it is bad, between 45 and 50 minutes. Most likely, your internet is not very good, that is, it does not have a stable connection.

I cleared for the first time T&T with 1H. It took me 11:30 min, 2:20 min more than when I do it with my favorite style. Is it too slow? How much time do you guys need to clear that arena with 1H?

13 minutes (with 1H). But since my internet is unstable, I can not always repeat that time. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

Around 8 minutes last time I checked. QUOTE(DJNoni @ Oct 18 2017, 18:33) ~15 minutes is quite good for elemental mage. I don't consider my set to be a poor mage's set. It's the Legendary Set of the Over-Spender. I't all Prada, you know
And I've probably got the Set of the Under-Spender since I needed less than 15M + 2 lottieries + 1 self drop to get to (well, with ~300M of upgrades and perks (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/duck.gif) (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif)) (anyway time is very bad way to measure the performance of a style, total turns is a so much better metric) This post has been edited by Sapo84: Oct 18 2017, 23:07

QUOTE(Draw99Gray) Is there a reason for not using scripts and IA? They would massively simplify your play experience, and there is no downside in using them. After a week of testing, the monsterbation hover script did not improve my turns/second, therefore I disabled the hover while retaining its other features. This will occur if your connection, PC, or browser is very slow. In this case the clicking speed gain is minimal, and you actually lose physical mouse time due to the hover mechanic (clicking style is faster in terms of the associated mouse movement). My 0.7 turns/second is unchanged with hover on. If you are low level, under-equipped, or weak, then the hover script further slows you down, because you will tend to scramble more doing other actions, rather than straight up attacking. As for IA, in my opinion the mana drain is not worth it until you buy IA3 to reduce the mana cost. You can save a lot of mana by casting the regular way and going for channeling. Past level 400, I can see the argument that it should be used. But if you are poor like me, 2 million credits is a dream. I rarely have more than 200k credits, I'm generally in the red and training is all lagging behind. (I have tons of mastery points unused).

Oh, but it's just to take a comparative test. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) I think no one will suffer much if you run without scripts and IA for just one day. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif) QUOTE(Draw99Gray @ Oct 18 2017, 21:51) Is there a reason for not using scripts and IA? In the case of scripts, I do not use it for stubbornness. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) In early 2016 I thought about using, but as I did not understand how to install and configure, I gave up. I even read the related topics at the time, but instead of clarifying only increased confusion. I would look at this bunch of codes and just get more dizzy. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/wacko.gif) Sincerely, I hope someday the improvements contained in the scripts can be officially adopted by Tenboro. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) And about IA I did not find it so urgent, and then I preferred to use my haths to buy Tokenizer I & II. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif) And now I'm thinking of buying the EXP perks (all). QUOTE(BlueWaterSplash @ Oct 18 2017, 22:12) I am not alone! You are my hero. Installing scripts is pretty easy: *Install Tampermonkey from Chrome Web Store *Once installed, go to Extensions [attachmentid=110173] *Give Tampermonkey access to files from your computer (don't worry, it won't do anything weird) [attachmentid=110174] *Click on the Tampermonkey icon, and click on add new script *Localize the downloaded script, and drag & drop it into the new script window *It will open a new tab, click on install There you go, script installed! The best part about Monsterbation is that you can personalize it to your liking, it has many useful features. Like binding all curative spells and items to a key and use them in the order you want, or setting up melee skills (and items) in the hover cycle so you don't have to cast them, stopping hover when your desired buff or draught is almost gone, the low health/mana/spirit warning/stop hover and many more. This script has every variable well explained, so you know easily what it does and how to modify them.

I think I bought my first IA at level 270. at that time, hath is priced around 8k to 9k each. However, it is MASSIVE IMPROVEMENT!!

IA1 is almost needed though. If you get hit for 15K at 250-300, you want to be able to rely on your Spark proc; having to recast it manually leaves you potentially open for another instakill, which just drains you further (MP/SP). The argument could be made for IA2, but at the very least IA1 Spark is highly recommended. Double drain reduction on IA2 is nice though (assuming it's 10 to 20, from memory).

Personally, I think first-second-third IAs are must. They maybe not the first priority, but extremely useful, no doubts. As for forth-fifth IAs - it depends on build only. 1H/Heavy don't need them, mage do. I am 1H/Heavy, but I still bought them just because I had free money and had nothing better to do (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif)
