I know that Pony-riddle may be very hard for newcomers, especially to those who never watched My Little Pony TV series.
Just keep playing and answer those riddle more and more. You will at some point so fluent with those captchas that you will answer on them in 2-3 seconds. It is just a matter of practice and experience.

can somebody explain why it start in wiki with 2x reduce and not with 1x?

for wiki it seems having a monster just between 25-249pl count as 1x reduced moral drain rate. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/huh.gif)

patch notes:

- The drain rate bonus for powerlevel was rescaled to start from PL 250 and increase linearly up to the cap at PL 2250. It now caps at x6

2x is what admin said as starting point. i'm not sure what happens on PL<250 but there's a fair chance multiplier is 1x, yep.

Because it's a REDUCED DRAIN rate, so x2 actually means the drain rate is half the base drain rate (i.e. actual rate = base rate / 2), x3 means it is a third etc.

Obviously from PL 25 to 249 it is the base rate, no need to write it (besides x1 and /1 is just the same).

I can confirm that PL 249 is 1x, as my monsters are currently at this PL gap, and by pushing some just past it, their morale drain suddenly became much slower relative to the other monsters.

Does it mean that we have first reducing update at 250, second on 650, ...sixth on 2250, and this will make seven updates-steps totally with base included?
Or my math wrong?

Don't get tricked though. The morale may drain slower, but it'll still be more and more expensive to refill it with crystals.

So between weaken, slow, and magnet, which ones are higher priority for casting, for spending ability points, and do you generally use all 3 on something like a boss?

Also, as a new lv 100 player, what gear or "stuff" do I want to prioritize getting?

Imperil is all you need. Slow is utterly useless, Magnet is for high level mages (but rarely used anyway), Weaken is for high level Item World/Grindfest 1 handed.
If you need to weaken the monsters in a normal gameplay, then you're doing something wrong.

weaken is great and will let you take on higher difficulties in IW/GF all by itself. slow has miserable effect duration and doesn't help all that much. magnet may be useful against the dragons but that's about it. if weaken isn't enough, i suggest using it in combination with silence and sleep
